Why not just stick with TMCC? That is what I intend to do.

Game design will affect both so w/e 343I do will affect both campaign, MM. So for those that want to play the game for the lore will have to suffer with the poor game design. I think OP is referring to those complaining about all the new mechanics on MM. I’m sure you don’t actually believe sprinting hurts lore in any way.
I can understand why people wouldn’t want these changes for multiplayer (I am not a fan either), but complaining about the abilities in campaign?
I personally don’t see how these changes affect the lore?

Sure sprinting doesn’t affect lore. I just don’t like people using it in games due to the panting sound irritates me, well makes it harder to be stealthy. I’m more annoyed with stuff like ADS/Smart-scope, that pointless ground pound feature there adding, I hate the fact that they added kill cams for the noobs that don’t know anything about tracking down players based on using their environment instead of using the ability’s to cheat like Promethean vision in Halo 4.

So now you are talking about multiplayer again? This goes back to my original point, why not stick with TMCC? The easiest way to voice your displeasure over a product, is to not hand your money over to the people making it.

Eventually, years down the road, the population on the MCC will die (Become very low). If I’m going to be forced to switch to a newer Halo down the road, I would hope they can eventually create a Halo that doesn’t attempt to break core Halo values. I do agree OP, for now, I will be playing the MCC because Halo 5 is NOT Halo anymore.

If it only it was that simple. It’s not going to make much difference to the sales if I didn’t get it, the main reason why I’d consider getting it because of the campaign. Pretty sure avoiding the multiplayer mostly online like many others will be enough to show that most dislike the MM since most are still doing with H4
Also game design affects both campaign, multiplayer so not just multiplayer.
I agree. I will definitely play a lot of mcc. I am not sure about getting halo 5, but it is still early so I can wait and see how things change. I am just not keen anymore to spend $ on games that I do not think are worth it and end up regretting it.

Poor Game Design? You wish 343i would listen to their fans? I think you mean listen to you… because as a FAN I am really enjoying the Halo 5 Pre-Beta and loving the additions to the game.
If I want to play classic old school Halo with the original mechanics I have the Master Chief Collection to cover ALL of that from Halo: Combat Evolved to Halo 4. Speaking of Combat Evolved why is everyone complaining that Halo is Evolving?
