To all the people who want Noble Six back....

Noble Six was one of my fav characters in Halo. Bringing him back would seriously damage Halo Reach’s theme. The whole point of the story was sacrificing yourself for the better good. This is was made the game so damn good, I want Noble Six to come back, but it would ruin Halo Reach. Bungie said that they had a hard time deciding the ending of the game. But in the end they made the decision to kill off Noble Six. It was their way of saying farewell to Halo. Bringing back Noble Six would be a slap in the face to the whole theme and point of Halo Reach.

I would agree that Noble Six shouldn’t be brought back. Whole-heartedly. He’s dead dead and should remain so.

However, the argument that it would damage Reach’s theme is unfortunately moot. Halo 5 did some pretty (almost) irreversible damage to Halo 4 by bringing Cortana back.

So because one piece of media severely damaged another it’s fine to do the same to another? I know that’s not what you meant, but that’s what I’m getting from your post.

Absolutely not, see what I said first. I don’t think he should be brought back at all. Just based on past evidence, anything is unfortunately possible for better or for worse.

I do see that, but referring to the second half of your post as I did in my post, it makes it sound as if it’s fine to alter things negatively now because Halo 5 did it.

If they brought six back…

I honestly think 343i hear us loud and clear on the Cortana issue. I’ll give them a little bit of faith that they will not make the same mistake twice regarding Noble Six.

Indeed.

As much I love noble 6, im going to have to agree with you.

Noble Six doesn’t need to comeback! He was just a cool character in Reach and that’s it!

  • Sustained severe injuries and trauma, in addition to being physically (and mentally) exhausted - Discarded their helmet, leaving them vulnerable to major injuries - Stranded in the middle of nowhere with enemies everywhere on a planet widely considered lost by humanity - Lack of access to ammo and basic necessities for survival - Impending danger of glassingNoble Six is dead. SUPER DEAD. They’re not coming back.

What gets me most about his death was bungie labeled it as player choice what choice stay behind and die or stay behind and die?

BY doing this you are just bringing the subject back up and making it fresh in people’s minds again…just don’t talk about it

It’s like how I said in my thread.

> Or this topic is simply cursed and people will just create new threads about this in the near, if not, in the far future of Halo.

There isn’t many of them. They are just very loud.

He cant anyway he is DEAD.
I definitely agree with you OP

Noble six is such a likeable character because they give him very little speaking, and very little personality in the game. This way the player naturally puts their own thoughts and personally as Noble Six’s. Because of this he was a favorite character, and you’re right bringing him back would hinder the theme of Reach.

I liked him too and I think that him dying at the end was executed perfectly. So yes I completely agree with you, bringing him back would ruin the theme of reach.

Who said anything about bringing him back?

I noticed that bringing him back was a popular subject for halo youtubers for a while.
