Seriously, give 343 a break. If you want a game like Halo 3, just go play it instead.
Prepare for the hornets nest.

Thanked. Agreed. Seriously.
> Prepare for the hornets nest.
I lold, I hope I’m ready.
They can’t, they enjoy the drama to much
Hahaha getttt rrready (Gabriel Iglesias voice)
I complain also, but not for a re-skinned version of Halo 3. I want a Thruster Pack for Spartan Ops that is awesome, rather than some fancy fart from the shoulder pads.

Give them a “break”?
If I’m a car manufacturer and I build a car that has bugs: the lights sometimes dont work, the turn signals sometimes work and sometimes dont…do I get a “break”? No, there are recalls and -Yoink- gets fixed.
343 sold $220 million worth of H4 on launch day alone. $220 million. I can guarantee you that everyone at 343 is compensated more than fairly. So why do they deserve a break for making a buggy, glitchy, and more or less incomplete game?
Implying a portion of the Halo community should go screw themselves because their idea of what Halo should be is different than yours.

A faulty car endangers life. A faulty game irritates people and makes a company lose customers. I get your analogy though, but there is no legal ramifications towards 343 like there are for car companies. The ONLY reason companies roll out recalls are for legal suits they lost. Unless you are going to bring up 343 on a lawsuit… then don’t hold your breath.
Edit - for legal suits they lost OR could pay hefty fines over*

And if 5 old ladies are yelling at the man working the car, does it help? No. Let them do their job.
@Trigger I’m Implying if you want a game like Halo 3 you should just go play it. /End
Halo 4 is good, the complainers just want Halo 4 to be amazing.

Blow it put of proportion why don’t you?
Automotive defects are far more serious than these glitches you speak of. They don’t hold the same value do your analogy is invalid.
I want you to list these glitches, then see if they’re as serious as automotive defects that would require recalling.

In no way is that applied. It’s just that a large part of this community is sick of every thread saying that they should just change it back to a game with no modern elements at all. Halo 4 is Halo! Stop saying it’s not. Oy…

I don’t want Halo 3. I do want Halo though, not some CoD rehash.
> And if 5 old ladies are yelling at the man working the car, does it help? No. Let them do their job.
How so? The problems being found in this game are being discovered by us, the USERS. We then complain/talk about it and the developer reacts. If you didn’t notice, 343 seemingly missed the dozens of glitches prevalent in this game while they were doing their own “testing” (if you want to call it “testing”). So clearly they absolutely DO need people -Yoinking!- at them because they dont appear competent enough to address the problems themselves…otherwise we wouldn’t be seeing a retail version of the game with asinine bugs that should have been caught a year and a half ago.

That would depend on if the old ladies were pointing out he forgot the flex plate before dropping the engine into the car.

Almost all these glitches would have been fixed with a simple public beta. But in-house testing works sooo much better. /sarcasm
Furthermore, 343 already has our money. Fixing bugs, re-writing code, etc. takes resources, man hours, and MONEY. If no one complains then they simply wont fix it. Why would they? You’ve already bought the game, if you just sit there quietly they’ll just assume you’re perfectly happy with the buggy mess you’re playing. They’ll only address problems if there is outrage happening, because even a clueless company like 343 knows that you need to keep your consumer somewhat happy if you want to sell future games.

I highly doubt 343i employs complete idiots who slowly walk around each map attempting to get inside of every wall and break/cheat the game like some people in this halo community do. Blizzard said it best, “We do everything we can to try and break our games before we put them out, but the customers, players and gamers put us to shame in finding problems. Without their input, we couldn’t fix a thing.”
