Just saying in theory that if think about bringing back Bungie to Halo, that would just be terrible idea. Look at Destiny, a dying game that having another update that’s gonna suck. If they do bring them back, let me remind you that all the best people who made Halo left Bungie and some work with 343 and Microsoft now. And they work with Microsoft biggest enemy, Activision. You might be angry at this post but I’m a Bungie fan too and love of the Bungie era, but things change and sometimes we have to move on.
I agree that Bungie is in no way, shape, or form, the answer to this problem, if a problem it can even be said to be. And, for the record, almost no Bungie people came over to 343 during the transition, and very few of the original people are still there today. I respect Bungie’s decision to sign on with Activision and get rich, but I have to agree that everything they’ve done with Destiny has proven to me that they’re unworthy of the mantle of responsibility. I think 343 is doing a very creditable job. There’s more to success than just units sold. Not that they don’t need to sell more units. They do. But it’s a lot more complicated than that.

Yet Bungie launched there Halo games complete. You can’t compare Halo and Destiny ones an FPS the other is an MMO. I’ve yet to play Destiny since MMO play styles aren’t my time of thing . A lot of the brains of the old Bungie left for Certain Affainty you know the guys who helped on the H2 remaster campaign.id rather have them take charge of Halo if not then Bungie since they can get a complete game out at launch.

Did that many people from Bungie actually go to Certain Affinity? I’m pretty sure, like 343, they only ever had a handful of Bungie alumni. Keep in mind that the two studios are pretty far apart (Bungie is in Seattle, Certain Affinity is in Austin).
Obviously, Max Hoberman is still there, but I think he’s the only Bungie veteran left. Of the other Bungie people I know of who have ever been at Certain Affinity:
- Chad “Shishka” Armstrong now works at Crystal Dynamics
- David Bowman now works at Telltale
- Dan Mod now works at Treyarch
- Stefan Sinclair started his own indie studio called IVxIV Software
- Paul Russel started a one-man graphic design business called spazdesign

I’m comparing how they after the Classic Halo to Destiny since Bungie has fallen.
Bungie abandoned us for better things and more money. I don’t like them anymore
Plus most of the OG Bungie crew has either come to 343 or has quit. That’s what they get for signing with Activision. They wanted to be a “independent” company but they let Activision basically have control of them? And is why you can’t even play the game without paying for a 40$ update every few months.
