I didn’t want to tell you how to do it, but I just wanted to point out the fact that the face paint looks like low resolution skin textures.

What a joke…

Alot of 343i staff are miserable, as there is a huge disconnect between management, and their staff. As well as too many contractors.

Huh, disconnect sounds familiar. Much like Xbox and their fans. Which is why many are leaving.

Halo Infinite looks rough. And it is sad that the rumored budget was over half a billion dollars.

all the more reason to try and help boost their morale even just a tiny bit. For those staff members who are miserable and feel as if they are in a bad environment they need something positive to look towards. Ultimately if the game ends up being terrible its not the little guys fault and they shouldn’t be shot down when they are already on the ground.

It doesn’t hurt to be positive, but it sure does to be negative.

The original quote was by someone who thought 343 was censoring comments. Monitors are not employed by 343. No one at 343 told them to hide those specific comments. Therefore 343 is not censoring comments, but rather community members are trying to keep the forums free from negativity and insults.

On one hand I appreciate they leave most comments in-tact or censor only the bad parts with a light ban, but on the other hand some bans are excessive. Some people have been banned until The Fall of Reach on Waypoint or Twitch over minor issues or personal grudges a monitor might have against an individual or view about the franchise.

That’s when you make a new account:). But I agree with thos. They need accountability also.

Exactly. This goes hand in hand with what was shown during the showcase.

343 has had a high turnover rate recently but idk if the graphic quality would really be affected that much by that. Usually that would be a team of artists that would drop the ball on that. Does anyone know if the Lead Level Designer, Lead Graphics Designer, Lead Special Effects Designer, or etc. has been replaced or anything happen to them throughout Halo Infinite development?

There have been whispers of issues at 343i for a while. High profile departures of key personnel and rumors of a toxic work environment. You can dismiss hearing things like that for only so long. After what we saw with this game play demo, I believe it.

This was supposed to be a next gen showcase. The much touted slip space engine, the engine that was supposed to give 343i the ability to realize it’s next gen vision for Halo. Moving to this new engine was also the excuse for the lack of communication from 313i regarding Halo Infinite for so long. The Slip Space engine along with the Series X’s 12 TFLOP GPU and CPU that is supposed to be 4 times more powerful than the Xbox One, this was supposed to be a presentation that blew us all away and got us excited to move into the next gen and finally get a new Halo!

Unfortunately that’s not what we got, that game demo looked no better than the games I’m currently playing on my Xbox One X. Gears 5 and Doom Eternal are a couple examples I’d point at as games on the current system that look better than what 343i showed us. In fact I went back and looked at Halo 5 and found it looked better than this supposed next gen title.

They can say what they want about it being an old build of the game. I don’t buy it, sounds like a lot of excuses after the fact. There is no way a next gen game that’s been in development for as long as Halo Infinite has been should look worse than current generation games. No way it’s going to look dramatically different in 4 months either. What I’m reading about the internal issues at 343i meshes with the demo they showed us. This studio is in disarray and the game is in development hell.

Why did they show it then?? I don’t think that’s a tough one, they showed it because they had to! Not showing anything would have been instantly suspicious. Microsoft’s marquee franchise in development for years with next to no communication from the studio, 4 months before the launch of a new system that is supposed to launch simultaneously with Halo Infinite. Not showing it would have instantly set off alarms.

I know you’re right, but even if it was an old build there is no way it should have looked worse than current Xbox One games.

Proper lack of patience causes this attitude. As goes for most, those 8 minutes were apparently enough to judge the entire game upon.
I’ll be waiting eagerly for more news.

ok whats wrong with hitmarkers exactly? like they’re fine to me I mean was it not annoying when you couldn’t tell if your shots landed or not in past halo games? oh wait I see why you don’t like them, its because OTHER games have hitmarkers henceforth halo cant have hitmarkers just like the grappleshot. And what makes you think they retconed the story again? Literally only saw 8 damn minutes of gameplay out of a massive game and already your -Yoinking!- about it and besides have you not played the OG halos? the AI were downright retarded and always yelled and screamed but the recent games had none of that and personally im glad infinite is making the AI dumb and stupid again, also he was playing on normal? so no -Yoink- sherlock it doesnt look hard, what is hard is telling if your being ironic or not.

I think that is more of an opinion than fact because in my eyes that was better looking than Xbox One Halo, but idk. I guess we will all see what the real game is like when it releases this Holiday Season.
