Halo infinite is going to have battle royal, it is literally on their website. Just go to it change your geo-location to Japan, translate and scroll down to additional information. How does it feel knowing that the reason why there was no multiplayer reveal and we got 360 graphics after FIVE YEARS OF DEVELOPMENT, because they are trying to turn the series into fortnite for kids?

When your done you can come back and cope with whatever excuse you can come up with to defend phil spencer, but this is pretty indefensible. They don’t even have the brass balls to post it on the US version.

First, the game hasn’t been in active development for 5 years. They didn’t launch Halo 5 and then the next day start immediately working on Halo Infinite assets. They spent at least a year on building the Slipspace Engine for Halo Infinite. So, not factual. You expected them to just reveal everything about the game all at once? If you expected to see anything other than a campaign demo then that is your fault for your expectations being so high. Also, I’m not opposed to the battle royale genre coming to Halo Infinite IF it doesn’t take away form the normal multiplayer suite offering at launch.

I had high hopes for Halo Infinite. Never liked 5 and was hoping this game would be a return to form on a number of levels. What I’ve seen so far is not encouraging. Art style and game play looked alright but the visuals look current gen. Not even the best example of current gen! Playing Doom Eternal and Gears 5 on my One X and in my opinion both of those games look better than the campaign footage 343i showed. I even went back and played the Halo 5 campaign on my One X and found that to look better than what 343i displayed. I was shocked, but had no choice but to resign myself to the fact it was simply true.

343i only started with the excuses after people started pointing out that the games look wasn’t exactly next gen. All the sudden this was a really old build of the game and ummmm we’re not done working on it, in fact we’ll be working on it for the next 10 years. I think the articles I’ve read in recent months about high profile departures at 343i and issues the team is having working with the engine have been proven to be true by the game play we’ve been shown. Just my opinion but I think this game is in development Hell. There has been radio silence regarding this game for so long because 343i just didn’t have anything decent to show, this demo only surfaced for this Xbox presentation because MS had no choice but to show something. Showing nothing would have been instantly suspicious.

I have game pass ultimate, so it won’t cost me any extra to download the game and give it a try when it launches this November. That said, my enthusiasm for this game is now dead, what I saw was disappointing and I just don’t believe this game will look dramatically different in 4 months time. They touted a brand new engine, the slip space engine was supposed to be this super advanced set of Halo tools that would allow the developers to realize their vision for the next generation of Halo. The Series X touts a GPU with 12 TFLOP’s of power combined with a CPU that’s 4 times more powerful than the current Xbox One. You can’t say all that and then show a demo for a next gen game that isn’t even on par with the current generations standards. There is no way people weren’t going to be disappointed

343 was put in a really pressure situation. I mean the marketing for Series X is about its POWER. A machine where developers will not have to compromise and give up their dreams on their projects. The language set the bar very high for what people were expecting across several categories such as performance and visual prowess,in a reveal . And then we saw the trailer and what we saw for the Halo Infinite reveal did not match the language. I just don’t think this is disputable. Now the positive is that the game play itself looks smooth and fun (so it does check off at least that category, ie performance - 60 fps ect) and I’ve seen games turn around pretty quickly from initial reveals (Marvel’s Avengers as an example). So I’m not panicking about it or even worried about it, I just think that the language used to describe Series X placed 343 in a very high stakes pressure situation.

Thank you 343i for all of your hard work. Please know there are many of us excited for Halo Infinite. Everyone has opinions, and many valid criticisms have been shared. But we sincerely appreciate all the effort, time and energy.

While there may be a few issues here and there, for the vast majority of what we’ve seen of Infinite I am very impressed. The new sandbox looks thoughtfully made and has the potential for a lot of great plays (which I’m no doubt we’ll see plenty of on YouTube post-release) and seeing many of the enemies take their original forms is a breath of fresh air for sure. I’m still holding out hope for some sort of demo/flight system, but even if that isn’t to be, I know I’ll be looking forward to playing day one.

If anyone is being a bully, it’s you. Following other people around to harass them and telling them they can’t control you (which no one is try to) is just ignorant and frowned upon. Me saying you should make actual comments on the post topic and not make blabbering nonsense is just telling you to be respectful of the community and have a logical conversation. Not being respectful of the community while also being ignorant is literally what bullies do (which is what you are doing).
