Im done arguing about this pointless crap. Neither of us are going to convince the other as neither actually keeps in mind what each person is really getting at. I dont play 1v1’s so your advice isnt always for me and i should keep that in mind. I play 3v3’s and your strategies arent usually necessary, especially considering the average skill of people playing in 3’s. This forum has become incredibly hostile towards me, very disappointing of people who claim that its the opposite and that everyone’s ideas are respected.
Dont blame the Waypoint community for you failure to be accepted. You didnt give your advice or opinion, you told someone they where wrong in an insulting arrogant manor.
Trust me the community valued Wild Arms advice over you’re uneducated rants on how he was wrong. Not only that but he replied respectfully to you, even though you continued to tell him he was wrong. That is why people started to make fun of you, because of your own doing.
Do you really not see how dumb you’re arguements are. “Rushing takes no skill” and “I know better then Wild Armsand klicka about 1v1, even though I never played 1v1”
I was a little frustrated over rushing ruining my 3v3’s when i posted that, whether it was my team that did it or the others so i was a little shocked to find a place that worshipped it when most of the people online hate it, at least in 3’s where i come from. I never really thought about the implications for 1v1 though, and that is obviously what almost everyone on here plays so i revoke that thought at least as far as 1’s and some 2’s go. And i do blame waypoint for 2 things, A not being as accepting as it should and B having such a small selection of the type of people that play this game. But i dont really care anymore. This thread is a white flag, im tired of arguing and of the disrespect from both sides, this isnt fun.
Insulting others will not earn you respect. The community is fine, but when you flame people that play differently (rush as you call it), those people will state the reason why they do it. You saw it as an insult and retaliated, when all they were trying to do was be helpful.

And as to some other replies, youre right i must not have fully understood, wraiths are indeed somewhat useful early into a game but if not done right it will leave yourself vulnerable and wasting supplies because they really arent useful later in the game. Also Im not a member of the 1v1 crowd so I typically see things from a 3v3 perspective and wraiths arent useful as a rush in 3v3 usually it leaves you open to the other two players who will most likely have something that can crush wraiths by the time you are making progress damaging one of their bases. And i still dont think hogs/inf/“mainline” will be the solve all still. The infantry step just seems weak against covies they have jackals which are just incredbily effective. I know you said it could be skipped but unsc mainline can still be countered pretty easily enough. Its not a bad strategy, just needs more variety to make sure your not countered too easy”
Wild Arms FX- "Inf. not usefull, well considering ALL OF THE MAPS IN 1V1 HAVE HOOKS, try winning a game above 40 TS without building inf and let me know how it goes. Its you’re overwhelming arrogance/idiocracy that is making people dislike you. Do me a favor, next time you comment in opposition to my 1v1 strats, TRY PLAYING 1V1 FIRST. So you can at least have a clue on what you’re talking about. Really what is the point to oppossing my 1v1 advice when you dont play it or arent any good at it. I dont mind hearing your side if it educated, but it is kinda of annoying to hear you comment on things you know nothign about.

I fail to see my attack on him, i see my apoligizing for my misunderstanding of wraiths, my explanation of why i misunderstood because they arent useful in what im used to, and me continuing with wondering how infantry can be useful even if it came across wrong i guess. I was confused, it had seemed like he meant as combat units he couldve just replied witht he hooks part and made himself clear. As you can see his post starts the actual disrespect on this thread, how am i supposed to reply to that in a constructive manner?
This would have probably been better to settle in a message than making it public to everyone.
A message to who there are plenty of people on here who rip on me i cant keep track of them, no this was the simplest way
