It’s had its ups and downs, but I feel that overall it was a better game (multiplayer wise at least) than Halo 4, but it’s still far from perfect.

There’s nothing wrong with genuinely enjoying something. Just because others don’t share that same opinion, doesn’t mean folks have to get hostile towards them.

He’s more than entitled to enjoy the titles.
But his use of “Thank you for making halo great” leaves the whole thing open to attacking 343i’s treatment of Halo and pointing out that Halo was great. Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, ODST, Reach, Wars. They were all great titles, and the franchise was great. 343i didn’t make it so. Especially not by creating Halo 4, then providing a broken mess of a collection of the original FPS games, and Halo 5 (which has had its own share of criticism).

fair enough i guess, but if those people arent ok with halo at its current state then i honestly cant blame them, afterall halo is now very different and its not as popular as cod anymore.

To all who are surprised by the OP’s statements because of unsatisfaction with 343i, I say to you this:
If someone becomes hooked on to the Halo franchise through one of the games 343 has developed, I would think that should be treated as a win for the Halo community.

Then that person has low as hell standards and is easily pleased. I don’t think that’s good because then that means it’s okay for company’s to do -Yoink- practices like micro transactions and releasing unfinished games
