To 343: Remember This

No, it’s not. We’ve got three days to go. Yes, what we have of the multiplayer right now is an Open Beta, no different than the Halo 5 Multiplayer Beta or the Halo Reach Multiplayer Beta. Could everyone access those? 100% yes.

No buts. Halo Infinite has not released yet. It is one game, regardless of the delivery system.

Multiplayer and campaign are two different products and this product is live.
Halo 5 beta wasnt opened to the public like this, let alone did it allow you to spend currency in game on it in the same manner as this in that beta.
So flip it as you want, it’s not a beta and never will be.

They’ve confirmed that there is no further Multiplayer content releasing on Dec 8th
This is (as I’ve been saying since the “beta” launched) the full offering

And such is the difference between a Beta and an Open Beta. As well in that anything you acquire in this Open Beta will carry over to the actual released product. Deny it all you want, what we’re playing right now is functionally an open beta, subject to change (and likely will) with the coming Day 1 update on December 8th.

No, they haven’t. 343i have stated that desired playlists and game-modes won’t be added in before December 8th, and the current pending goal is by the end of the year. Additionally. that says nothing to the sandbox, and any unreleased weapons and vehicles.

fun fact: never spend a dime on a game that’s going through hell.

This, I like this one.

Better tell the youtubers reporting otherwise

I would trust the National Inquirer before anything HaloFollower says.

This is a very weak reason to bail on a game. I agree with the complaints about battle pass and store prices. I also believe those will get fixed. However, at the end of the day this game has been out in beta for 3 weeks, has amazing core gameplay and from everything I’m hearing…will have an incredible campaign experience.

Please exit halo. Real Halo fans don’t want your kind here. Goodbye.

what you need is to stop crying about a beta.

They have said that the game that all of us are playing is the game they are releasing on the 8th. Beta is so they can make significant changes before release test servers and what not. This really is not a Beta.

" ‘Beta’ is a standard term to denote a milestone release during production in which game functionality is included and optimized (but may have bugs), game content is finished (but may have some implementation errors), and which is considered nearly complete. Beta represents the sum total of what the game will be, and content or functionality changes beyond beta are usually considered to be outside the framework of a publishing contract (called ‘change control’).

Online publishers often release beta software to the public as what is called an ‘open beta’. Open betas invite customers to play the game, report any issues that they find and participate in the community surrounding the game ahead of launch. Open betas are also often a great way to engage players with a marketing story early on."

The current Halo Infinite Multiplayer fits that description to a T.

That’s fine, they won’t be able to make any significant changes to the MP before release, and people keep using “beta” to defend 343i.
They really need to stop using that term and if what you posted is accurate it makes 343i less defensible.
People talk about it being a beta like that somehow excuses 343i since a beta normally has issues and they think the problems will miraculously be fixed on the 8th, when they won’t. Many of these issues were brought up during the flights apparently, and the team hopes to fix them before the end of the year, long after official launch day.

They literally said the content that’s here is what we’re getting on “release”. It’s not a beta, that’s what the technical flights were for. This is just an early release.

Neither do people like you who turn a blind eye to literally everything and ask for more terrible things.

Holy Cripe…You were litterally given a link earlier in this thread PROVING to you that this is not a beta and that its everything that was going to be coming on the 8th minus the campagin.

the Halo infinite Beta (Last HI beta) , was sept 30 to oct 6th.

Halo infinties OFFICIAL Multiplayer Launch was November 15th,

December 8th is nothing but the Campaigns launch.

THIS IS NOT A BETA!!!
When are you going to finally admit you are factually and provably WRONG! and finally stop beclowning yourself to everyone else who is even remotely informed on this matter?

343I litterally confirmed to us last month that everything coming on the 15th (Past tense) is everything the multiplayer wouldve otherwise launched with on dec 8th, effectively meaning its the launch and not a beta. just because they call it a beta doesnt mean it IS a beta.

Calm down. Beta or not, issues can always be fixed and content can still be added so it’s not that big of a deal.

Or, y’know, those kinds of changes take real time to implement, stuff is being worked on as we speak, and you’re crassly insulting the dev’s intelligence by acting like they’re just “not listening” and all this somehow takes is a snap of their fingers.
