Lol, If you think buying armor is acceptable you havenāt played halo. The katana, recon armor & inheritor helmets were earned buy skill and hours of game play. Now you just spend $20 and you get the katana, like what a F#%^ing joke.

Been playing Halo since CE and paid for all my armor each game. Thereās just less time between spending the money and getting the gear, here.
Played since CE, but at no point other then Halo 5 did you just ābuyā armor you bought map expansion packs that had armor sets with it and you sure as hell didnāt buy recon, inheritor or the katana. All of that was earned through play.
You canāt earn any armor in the game based on skill alone. Everything is behind a paywall and all of the ācoolā stuff is and will be sold in the store, like this is not fortnight. 343 has dropped 3 game launches so far. Halo 4, halo 5 and infinity has less content at launch then halo reach had at launch. I donāt understand how a studio build on āHalo Fansā thinks itās okay to launch a game with out a campaign, multiplayer, forge, theater, and multiple game modes and maps. Let alone the customization. He fact that we have to buy armor colors for each armor core is 100% a money grab. The fact that one color set doesnāt work on another core is a joke. 343 has yet again dropped he ball on launch, in 18 to 24 months this game might actually be good

The argument that you should have armor in infinite that you earned in another game, is so stupid and entitled itās hard not to cringe at, sorry.
Iām not saying that at all. Iām saying in the other halo games we earned the coolest armor by skill and game play and now in infinite you just pay for it. Like why is flexing my bank roll acceptable.

As if theyāll listen. Theyāll charge us 1/4ths to 1/3rds worth of a full price standalone game for armor sets that should have been unlockable until the end of time, and whales will keep throwing money at them. Same shady business practices, different gaming franchise.

Oh Iām not arguing that nor was my post directed at you personally. Itās just about a recurring thing I keep seeing here.
Iām definitely more on the sides of the players as I am one myself, but some of these takes are horrendous.

What do you think weāre doing now then? Thatās the point. Thatās why people are angry.
Color: sell color disks that can be customized, sell color pallets, sell pre set pallets you canāt make, sell pattern orbs,
Armor,: sell armor as individual pieces bundles has us spending money on crap we donāt want. All armor should be available. āDo not charge bundle prices for single itemsā
Skins: yes just yes sell us Spartan armor skins for every Spartan to include with out helmets aka that -Yoink!- beast buck lol
Stances, name plate, and image plate: no these should be earned by achievement.
Battel pass: earn your way through a Spartan set. Once you complete the battle pass every 1000 or Level should earn store credit clearly loyal players will complete the passes and challenges so reward that loyalty. 1000/level after battle pass 100cr
Give us the ability to use our spartan during campaign. Keep the dialing just let us use custom Spartan.
Bring back arbiter armor and add some others like brute, promitheon, to multi player
Give us awards and decorations. One time earns that are just bragging rights
If 343 wants to make up for their shortcoming in Halo Infiniteās release, theyāre going to actually have to listen and more importantly, actually follow through on our feedback. Since they seem to be incapable of implementing changes without super specific instruction, here are some simple things they can do.
- Make daily shop items 100 credits, weekly shop items 500 credits.
- Make cost to level up 50 credits instead of 200 credits.
- Allow for any purchased coatings to be used for ALL armor cores instead of one.
- Allow us to browse playlists. Give us the option to be able to select slayer, CTF, Oddball etc.
- Add more permanent playlists, like infection, Griffball, Fiesta, etc.
- Make the Battlepass 500 credits instead of 1000, and the Battlepass Premium Bundle only 1000 credits instead of 2500.
- Allow visor colors to be used for ALL armor cores.
Iām sure there are more ideas that I canāt think of for now. But I think weāre going to have to be super obvious in what we want, and just keep spamming at 343 to make the game better if weāre going to get anywhere.

The economics of it all aside, thatās a really bad argument for why a game is ānot Haloā. People in your camp are quick and prone to throw out this āItās not Halo!!!ā but all that really translates to is āI donāt like this.ā Thankfully, your preferences donāt determine what is or is not a Halo game, and that this game is HALO Infinite, it is most certainly and factually a Halo game.

You guys are literally complaining that theyāre trying to make some money while offering you the game for free. It doesnāt add or take away from the gameplay itself. Itās purely cosmetic, those of us that play the game for the competitive aspect donāt even worry about that type of sh. Weāre more concerned about the game play, and an effective anti-cheat. Those of you that are focusing on cosmetics are prima donnas. Go back to Fortnite.

This is always a terrible argument every time itās made. āItās free, donāt complain.ā The fact of it is that itās horrendously done, and itās not just some random side thing that they threw in, itās been in the franchise for two decades. If a shift to aggressive over monetization of this magnitude isnāt something you feel warrants criticism then I feel sorry for you

Halo infinite hasnāt been released yet butā¦
Halo infinite multiplayer has been for weeks now and it is not a beta.
343 has no excuses for what they put out and how they put it out. Thereās no value in this product that justifies what 343 is asking for.
