To 343 from a fan of the Campaign.

Firstly, understand that I don’t play multiplayer (in any game), I’m purely a single player guy. (To each their own right?)As such my comments are purely about the Campaign.

I’m very vocal about my games, I say when something is “wrong”, or when I don’t like something.

343, this time around, I’ve got to say “Your Awesome”.

You did a fantastic job of continuing a story you didn’t start. (always difficult)
I’ve not enjoyed a Halo game this much since Halo 3.

Keep up the good work. If you put this much effort and commitment into the story for your future releases, I will happily purchase them.

Bravo, Gentlemen, Bravo.

Amen.

The campaign was great but the ending was incredibly lame. QTE a la CoD? No thanks. While it was “cool,” I wanted to put a bullet in that guy.

Obviously you didnt beat it on legendary… epic ending.

Yup really great job BUT there’s no theater for campaign that’s the only black point
+1 to Kensai o0

Hey! Someone who isn’t talking about the Multiplayer yeahhhhh! Campaign was awesome I have no real issue with it except I would have like even more of it because well now I have to wait for Halo 5… :frowning:

Necessary since he isn’t dead except if a simple fall in space like a lot of spartan do with lower tech is fatal to Forerunner somehow. Putting a bullet in his brain would defeat the logic of being alive.

Totally agree I’m loving the campaign.

Seeing as how the Didact threw Chief around like a rag doll, I don’t think you’d have a chance in hell of winning in a gun fight.

I really think 343 did a great job at exposing Chief’s more human side.
Especially when he was talking to Lasky saying, “It was my job to protect Cortana”.
It’s like he was trying to hide his emotions, and act all tough.
Chief is expected to be the tough guy, so he feels that he needs to act it out.

It was great!

SPOILERS

They could have created a situation that allowed him to be harmed. I mean, you defeated him. It’s not like he’s invincible.

I understand that he is still alive but you could have still fought him directly. Alas, you see him once at the start of the game and again at the end, the rest of the time he’s a giant orb. All in all a very disappointing BBG. That said, still an off the charts bad -Yoink- campaign.

What was so epic about seeing john’s eyes for a split second?

Best Campaign since CE. It did have a few flaws though. Quick time events… Just Why? Broadsword and Ghost escape sections just seem too like a mini games and scripted. Plus it was sadly too short, which was a shame because I was enjoying myself immensely.

Individual missions seem very memorable and seem to me at least now to have good replay value, something that was lacking in some previous titles. Promethean make for great antagonists in my opinion. They are fun to fight, they are intimidating and look awesome and the campaign story felt like a fast paced action Sci-fi. The character development seemed much more flushed out and the expanded lour side is very interesting. Although most of that is in the terminals.

Legendary was kind of easy though and the ending was a bit clichéd. But over all I enjoyed it.

SPOILERS

Another great part of the Campaign was when Del Rio got REALLY mad.
This cutscene is probably the best one since Sgt. Johnson’s death scene.
