Can anyone tell me if title updates will be around?
Say if I wanted to install physical copies to multiple xbox’s in order to play LAN and needed each game version to be the same?
I realise I could uninstall and reinstall the base disc but would be nice to know if this was necessary in advance.

I would check the sunsetting page to see if that’s been addressed. I haven’t paid too much attention to that, but I would think if they’re shutting down the servers, you wouldn’t be able to update them all the most recent version… but double check the sunset page to be sure…

I thought as much… like I thought though, if there’s nothing to connect to connect to (since the servers would be shut down), there would be no way for it to get any updates… so if you were to install it on a new xbox in say February next year, it would just be the base game… there would be no way for you to get the updates for it…
Would we still be able to access our dlc content like maps etc? Do you know?

It looks like it. I think they said you’ll still be able to download them as well.

I don´t know either, but I think that the title updates will still be aviable since Xbox Live will still be up and running, it is only the matchmaking servers for Halo that will go down.

It’s strange though cause the said we won’t be able to use the armoury even though that’s an offline feature. Or they disabling certain aspects of the game too?

Sorry can you quote where you read that about the armoury? I can’t find that

It’s what I remember from when they first announced it, they had a pdf with information about what will no longer be available. I’ll try looking for it, then come back.
