When I start up Halo Reach, I should be getting a message saying that I need to download the update, but its not coming up and I can’t get the Title Update. Has this happened to anybody else, and if so, how can it be fixed?
What version of the game do you have?
same here, I dont know were to get it and I have the original not the legendary adition.
I just have the regular version on disk.

Go the the main menu, do you see “1.1” somewhere on your screen?

Interesting…take a picture of the screen that says you need to download the TU and I might be able to help you a bit further.
That screen doesn’t even appear anymore.
I guess I should add that when that screen did show up and I pressed X, it led me to some item called “Cortana Chip” for my avatar.
That isnt the download screen for the TU, that is just a info-screen. The TU download screen loads up when you start the game from the dashboard. I’m guessing you already have the TU and just don’t know it.
Go to http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileShare.aspx?player=HaloWaypoint and download the gametype there. And don’t worry about the “view at your own risk”-thing, it’s legit. Try that gametype in Custom games and if you don’t have any bloom, you got the TU already.
That first screen never showed up. It never told me to install the title update. Still, I’ll check out that game type when I have the chance.
