After playing Halo 4 for quite awhile, I did notice a few gameplay issues which just seem to prove unbalanced for gameplay;
*Shotgun, Energy Sword and Gravity Hammer needs to be removed from the Personal Ordnance options. Because many can just simply engage in Active Camo and camp or sprint around the map killing people with these CQC power weapons. Scattershot is still tolerable as it is not as powerful as the others.
*Binary Rifle needs to be removed from the Ordnance list as well. Imagine players with Binary Rifle And Active Camo. This is Reach all over again with such Camo-camping Snipers. Only worse as one shot anywhere is all it takes to kill a person.
*Active Camo and Promethean Vision needs nerfing in terms of how long it can be used, and its recharge speed. This is especially so if one uses the AA Efficiency package.
*Set all starting loadout weapons to spawn with 3 spare clips. Often I ran out of DMR, BR or Pistol ammo because on large maps or 3v3 games on maps there isn’t much ammo to salvage if the enemy/my teammates are using different loadout weaponry from me and when teammates/enemies salvage the weaponry from dead bodies and I don’t.
*I do not know how much damage boost the Explosives package does to explosives, but a Sticky Detonator killing me without being stuck or its grenade being 1 foot away from, while I possess a fully charged Overshield, is overpowered. I can’t imagine the damage on grenades though.
So yeah, the above are some of the issues faced. Hopefully 343i listens and makes changes to the current Halo 4 matchmaking.
