We can sort of draw our own conclusion as to what happened here.
So you leave for vacation, but before going you told your nephew that you’d tune his bike up when you get back. Except that now that you are back, you’re learning that his bike needs some new rims, brake system, reflectors, chain, and that the handle bars are stripped.
It’s probably going to take you a little longer to fix this mess than originally anticipated right?
Question is, who is going to still be here at the end of February, and will Halo 4’s xbox live populace have fallen out of the Top 3 by then?

One more month is preferable to the deafening silence endured before the bulletin. Of course, i cannot stress enough that you shouldn’t be expected to be given the world when the TU starts rolling around in the wild.
It’s good that 343/Frank own up to the mistakes made. That’s the first step towards recovery. However, anyone can talk. It’s time 343 put their money where their mouths are at ;).

Well atleast we got a date now, I think a lot of people might just wait or just play till the update
> A public beta BEFORE Halo 4 was released would have helped heck of a lot. Lag is the biggest issue of Halo 4 for me. Lately it is horrid!
>
> But the arrogance of 343i shot themselves in the foot.
Have you played the BETA of all the other Halos? Especially Reach, they had some crazy -Yoink- that threw our current lag out the window. For a game that had no beta it released with very little bugs.
> I may stay if they give decent fixes to gametype’s options and stuff and add the missing gametypes (Assault, Invasion, Juggernaut)
>
> Also I would like if they add more forge options on further expansions
Assualt was garbage, bot invasion and Juggernaut would be good additions. Team Snipers, Double, Multi-Team would be good, too.
Ill tell you who’s still gonna be around. Dedicated Halo fans that will play the game even if the population count drops to only 100 people or less. Population does not matter for halo. People like to confuse us halo fans for other shooter fans by assuming we care about population size.
You want proof that population doesn’t matter? How about the fact that the halo 2 servers were supposed to be shut down by a certain date, and they were kept up because dedicated fans wanted to play as long as they could before the servers were gone for good. They kept the servers up until there was only 1 player left searching and couldn’t find anyone…two and a half weeks after the servers were supposed to be shut down.
So please, keep up with this silly argument that population means something. Noone is going anywhere except for people who arent die hard halo fans, let the numbers drop. Less idiots to spam nades, more tea bagging for me.
Some people state that they are happy that 343i owned up for making mistakes. Sadly enough 343i did not actually adress ANYTHING concrete they did wrong, just general ‘we did some things wrongs’ stuff that also is mirrored (overshadowed)by things they are proud of.
A long story short. I’m not happy at all with the bulletin. Just another set of shiny, but hollow, words we’ve been fed before.

Truth. Simple truth. ^
Off topic: I hope to see as many people as possible on Halo 3’s Final Great Journey, Lets see one of the best halo’s off with a bang. Preferably with blood soaked battlefields littered with spent shells and plasma burns.
On Topic:
Anyway, I lost some respect for 343i for some parts of the game (Custom options, War games bugs, etc) But I still love much of the game. However with 343i’s handling of the game and the forums, I lost even more respect. However with this, they have regained some of my respect, but that can still go both ways. If they fix a number of issues with the update, they will earn more respect, and maybe even a thank you. But if not… well… I don’t think their is much respect left to lose.

they never said WHEN the sandbox update will come out, they said that they`re working on one and that was all.
but yeah OP Ill be sticking around for awhile, although halo 4 isnt worth playing right now (lets be honest here) I will say the game might actually be good months from now.
besides I`m going to keep halo 4 regardless, might as well wait awhile right?

“There are a ton of things we wish wed done better: Features that didn’t make it into the final game. Glitches that emerged. Missteps made. DLC fiascos. Communication breakdowns.” From the recent bulletin

Too bad this is not a real Halo game so everything you said is invalid.
