I just noticed this when I started playing Team Slayer and every time I play it there is no TU showing up. Thank goodness it’s gone! Halo 4 is gonna get very rough when TU shows up there. Still Reach not getting love how sad
I still play it! But thank goodness TU is gone here! WHOHOOO!
There is a TU section and non-TU section. Team slayer is in the non-TU section, there is though super slayer (bascially TU team slayer) which is in the TU section.
I believe the non-TU section is called standard and the TU section is called evolved

Usually however I see TU on alot on Team Slayer and other playlists are they moving the TU to Halo 4 now and not keep it on Reach? TU was very common in Reach in any game types.

There has never been Title Update in Team Slayer since Super Slayer was introduced.
Super Slayer is the TU version of team slayer.
As for Halo 4, it needs a Title Update. The bloody fileshare still doesn’t work, and the game is bug ridden.
It also needs new playlists, but that’s a different story…
Slightly misleading topic but I thought a new title update for halo reach was supposed to be due soon.
I rarely see TU game modes these days.
And I play slayer 24/7.
I just recently got reach (in december) so may I ask why the title update is/was so hated?
And hell yes, H4 needs an update badly.

TU was never in that playlist… You are a funny one

I never thought myself to be funneh
Now that I think about it, I don’t know if it was in the slayer playlist.
Eh, whatever.

I haven’t heard anything about a new TU for Reach. Seems kind of pointless to spend the time and money for Reach at this point. I do believe they said they’d be updating the playlists sometime later on, or have intentions of doing so, but nothing set in stone.
And OP, no idea what you’re on about but the TU has never been in Team Slayer. Super Slayer is the TS-esque playlist that has the TU implemented.

At this point, Reach MM is the only thing I need Xbox Live Gold for. I can get my Netflix, Hulu, etc. with a free account or on my Sony Blu-ray. If not for Live Gold, I’ll probably just get the 4GB the next time I replace my Xbox.
My point is that if not for 343i, hopefully it’s still at least in Microsoft’s best interest to keep Reach playable. Doing so would still equates to real dollars in hardware sales, subscription fees, and ad-space value.
There’s a difference between maintaining the game and playlists and doing another major TU. A TU would cost an absurd amount of money that literally wouldn’t be worth it but updates aren’t out of the question.

Most playlists in Reach have TU, which makes the DMR, NR and pistol more powerful and easier to use. People don’t like this because it makes the game unbalanced and less challenging. Hence the playlist with the most population is Team Slayer, which does not have TU.

This is what I heard back when they were supposed to be updating halo 4 at same time so they were supposed to update reach at same time.
There are two sections of playlists: TU and non-TU.
Super slayer exists - but the ultimately pathetic population proves how wanted a TU really was. Vanilla all the way baby!
I think the population differential is due to the fact that Team Slayer sounds better than Super Slayer. It took me months to even realize what the difference between the two playlists was. Most of my friends have/had no idea what TU stood for. I personally have NEVER noticed a difference between TU and vanilla gameplay. Simply because I am not looking for the differences.
I think they should just entirely scrap vanilla or entirely scrap the TU. I never understood why you would want to play 2 different versions of a game side by side.
