No game, NOT 1 game doesnt have something that doesnt need fixed not 1 game.
> The game as it stands is one of the best FPS games ever made. We are not arrogant or stupid enough to think it needs 'fixing."
I’m confused by this hypocrisy. Isn’t saying that it doesn’t need fixing arrogant? Doesn’t saying that it is one of the best FPS games ever made imply that it is almost perfect?
WTH IS WRONG WITH THIS GUY???
Now we are circling back to AL.
Whilst 4V4 is what most would consider the staple of Halo matches, Team Slayer hasn’t got the memo AL isn’t for what goes on in TS.
So either…stop talking about it and find another playlist, or stop talking about it plain and simple.
You can play, Premium Slayer, The Arena (Which is not all that bad, yes it is given the vibe of super competitive tryhards in there, but it’s not bad if you just disregard the extra things tacked onto your nameplate.), Team Classic, Squad Slayer, MLG, Swat, Snipers, Objective, Multi Team, Big Team, Premium Objective.
There are so many choices. How one can’t find ONE thing they like out of this is beyond me.
Yo, Frank, please admit that you were trolling now.

Err…almost all of those you just listed have Armor Lock.
Anyway the reason AL is discussed is because its the #1 problem with this game. I dont give a crap about anything else (except maybe the AR and PR being buffed :P).
I hope he was trolling, because Reach isn’t the best FPS out there. Not by a Looooooooooong shot.

I swear…do I know you from somewhere? Your username looks so familiar…
> Yo, Frank, please admit that you were trolling now.
The opinion of a college degreed mega franchise head director might have some more worth to it than your’s, and you are just another disgruntled Reach player.

Do you guys not understand marketing?
He is not going to talk down on Reach when he is trying to sell CEA to people that play and like Reach.

A disgruntled Reach player who is one of the many that form the game’s player base.
So uh, dismissing his opinion as worthless (when compared to the head director) is kind of wrong.
Edit: Oh yeah, and you know that popular saying in business? What was it…OH YEAH
“THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT”
The vocal players here are a very small minority of who all plays the game.
> The vocal players here are a very small minority of who all plays the game.
I like how everyone always assumes that people who like Armor Lock, Armor Abilities, Bloom, Nuke grenades, or any other contentious issues are always labeled in the majority, and complainers form up the minority.

This actually makes sense.
Still, praising Reach like that is a slap to the face.
“The game as it stands is one of the best FPS games ever made”
and there goes the last the glimmer of hope for the Halo Franchise
I still dont get the point of this thread if they arent going to fix it. Im telling you something is wrong.
They would have told us awhile back that they arent going to fix anything before we got into it.

I like how you are assuming I assume the majority who aren’t here do like the new things introduced in Reach.

You certainly implied it in your previous post.

Frankie’s a casual. He doesn’t see all the problems like we see them. Most casuals see Reach as the “ZOMG BEST HALO EVER”. I don’t care how he views the game, as long as he realizes that there is a competitive community that needs certain custom game options to play the game at a high level and enjoy it. The fact that Reach is even getting patched gives me hope that he is listening, even if he doesn’t get it.
I only said the vocal players here are in the minority. You’re grasping at straws if you think it implied something else.
I’d say the majority, in my opinion, have one thing that was introduced in Reach high up on their dislike list, but they play anyway because they adapt.
