Keep melee lunge, but lower it. The aim assist need to be reduced also. And that clanging -Yoink- needs to die in a fire.

Halo: Reach has the slowest movement speed and jump height of ANY Halo apart from maybe ODST, it is floatier than both Halo 2 AND CE, bloom has NOT been in every Halo, it was ONLY in Halo CE on automatic weapons including the Magnum when auto; in every other Halo there was SPREAD, which is basically a static area where the bullets will always travel (just imagine if DMR bloom was KEPT at full reticule, that would be bullet SPREAD.
I completely agree.
This “Classic Update” better be more than turning off Fall damage and removing AAs or something…It better really change how Reach is played in the “Classic” section of its multiplayer.
I agree completely, OP.
You know, it took playing LAN with my friends to realize that CE was the best in terms of balance. H2/H3 were a damn shame in comparison to the fun I was having in CE LAN.

There we go way to set things straight.
Okay, this is a small request because it doesn’t really matter that much but it would be a nice addition to the TU update that would make Reach more enjoyable, I’m fairly sure everyone will agree. Can we have (sweet, please god) a DECENT amount of CR after each game? So people litterally don’t have to dedicate their lives 24/7 to Reach to get to the last rank? Anyone with me on this?
No
if anything I think we should get less because its way quicker and easier to rank up in Reach then it is in Halo 2/3 in Halo 2/3 you wouldn’t be able to rank up anymore if your skill level wasn’t high enough.
At least in Reach you can get to the highest level if you play
I spent 3 years on Halo 3 and only made it to Commander Grade 3 and I had a Yoink! of a better time then do I now as a General Grade 4.

Haha, I’d pay that much too!
hello, my name is HDhacker and i’ve gotten pretty pissed on reach lately, so i’ve decided to take my anger and use it for good. so my way is to play every playlist everyday till i hit my credit limit then talk bout problems i saw and think should be fixed with possible solutions to fix these problems.
I will try to keep my promise as much as possible and hopefully this post will be used for good, well enough talking and more playing for me.
THESE ARE MY OPNION’S SO SOME WILL BE DIFFERENT THEN YOUR’S, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT BELOW AND ADD YOUR OWN OPINION OR ADD ON TO WHAT I’CE ALREADY SAID
Team snipers: ah yes this is a favorite for me, while i do love it there could be some changes made
my problems:
-make this playlist a 6v6 playlist. most of the maps we usually play are to big for 4v4
-remove reflection, uncaged, and powerhouse, these maps just weren’t made for snipers
-
just use sniper pro only, im tired of people running around with pistols or spamming the grenades, it’s team snipers for
Yoink! sake not team pistols or team grenades
-fix the zoom button to where you have to double tap to zoom in**, i’ve always had a problem to right as i’m bout to snipe somebody and i seem to zoom out and i end up dead.**
-make/improve maps that provide a decent amount of coverage**, like hemorrage could add a few rocks or so in the big blank space, it just seems people just want to camp around the side of the cliffs or caves.**
-fix the hit registry, idk how many times i’ve had this happen to me before but everytime (may be exagerating a little bit) i shoot somebody, my shot just doesn’t get registered.
-betrayal’s, just turn it off, i hate when i have to sacrifice a teamate for a kill that would save them.
-decrease the melee damage, this could promote more to close battle sniping than a beat down feast.
Rumble pit- i can’t take this playlist anymore i swear. i think i’ve come to plenty of problems with this game type
- first and fore most they need to divide rumble pit in 3, divide it into a pro pit, slayer pit, and objective pit. thats really all i saw and of course some people dont like slayer or objective so they just do horrid and get Yoink!, pro pit and slayer pit could be joined in but i do know objective pit is a neccesary here.
- spamming the dmr decides to many of the battles, fix bloom
- armour lock, oh sweet armour lock oh how i hate thee, just take it out of the playlist please
- the maps were decent, some of them just didn’t match up like crazy king on asylum or powerhouse, thats just camp/grenade fest.
- the spawn system is just wack, they spawn right behind you
-the usual other blam that makes this game horrid
- Add some more for rumble pit, mabye i just can’t get the feel of it yet.
Team slayer- idk, i’ll try to make a post in a more reasonable time this time

Halo Reach:$60 Halo CE Anniversary with true CE gameplay:priceless
> Halo: Reach has the slowest movement speed and jump height of ANY Halo apart from maybe ODST, it is floatier than both Halo 2 AND CE, bloom has NOT been in every Halo, it was ONLY in Halo CE on automatic weapons including the Magnum when auto; in every other Halo there was SPREAD, which is basically a static area where the bullets will always travel (just imagine if DMR bloom was KEPT at full reticule, that would be bullet SPREAD.
Reach’s movement and jump height are right between Halo CE and Halo 3. Bloom has never been in Halo. Bloom is a visualization of Bullet Spread.

Bloom is a visualization of bullet spead? Bloom is bullet spead that increases as the fire rate increases.
Like someone else said bulletspread of some kind has been in Halo since CE. However it was always confined to the reticule. Bullet spread was there so that utility weapons would be weaker in long range because a spartans head would only fill up half of your reticule on the br/pistol (sadly, this wasnt true in a certain game of the trilogy where hitscan nullified the skilful act of leading your shots and made the utilitarian weapon TOO useful…)
Bloom is bullet spread that increases based on ROF. Bloom has only been in Reach. The bullet spread caused by holding the trigger down in CE was there because Bungie didnt want people full autoing their pistol all day long.
That is so true. I remember the old day on Halo CE. It was an amazing experience.

You didnt say spread x time you just said spread. But whatever let’s get back OT.
Hey 343! I think many in the Halo community are anxious to see what you’re going to do with the title update. Let us help spread the word if you’re going to fix many of the hated parts of the game so we can get some players back that have left!
I am really hoping for something rather significant in the title update. What is everyone else’s thoughts…do you think they will make major or drastic changes to the game or will it still be the same game Bungie put out?
In my opinion this is 343’s chance to show us a glimpse of what they are thinking for the future of Halo. I am expecting big things however being disappointed so often by Bungie I somehow feel that I will again be left with a sense of emptiness.
SaiNts
I hope they follow through with the idea of bringing back the more “Classic Halo” feel.
I think they have already announced releasing details about the title update at Halo Fest which is August 28th.
No need for the title update to have a ranking system if Halo4 is right around the corner. I will be in school/sports most of my time. I know things can’t be rushed though.
Don’t make it like Halo 3 or older Halo Games, the spartan you are is NOT Master Chief.
Don’t change things that would kill canon further, even in Multiplayer unless they are optional like they mentioned, having optional settings to have a more classic Halo feel for the 7 Remakes.
