Yeah that’s happened to me a couple of times. Shoot a guy dead and get a Bulltrue, but end up a Zombie? Frustrating.

With the removal of Sword Block, also make Bulltrues WORK!
If the player lunging you dies, he should drop at your feet, and you should commence teabagging. As opposed to him STILL infecting you, and somehow you getting a betrayal.
LMS doesn’t need benefits I think. It will make being the LMS automatically make you gain an unfair number of points. Regular humans already have enough of an advantage with free headshots and shieldless shotgun blasts.

I like the bulltrue idea. But, for the last man standing, how about only for small, non-camping maps such as zealot?
Put in a real ranking system for competitive gaming 1-50 like the old days, gives people something to work toward every day instead of having these stupid -Yoink- credits, really are we 10? I sure as hell am not. The game is for 17+
I was just wondering do you have any idea come august the second if you will patch reach online?
> Yes, please patch Reach. Bloom is brokenly implemented, and AA are completely over powered. Its just not fair gameplay. Kill times need to be sped up. Pretty soon its going to be two full clips of DMR, and a sticky nade before someone dies.
Not fair gameplay? Not fair gameplay is when one team spawns with DMRs and the other team with Plasma repeaters.
The AAs aren’t overpowered, what do they overpower? Sure AAs can amplify the effectiveness of some weapons (sword+sprint, rockets+jetpack, etc.) but they don’t physically stop you from fighting back.
If bloom gets fixed then the ROF should be slower to match. The DMR in it’s own right is balanced so changing a part of it would make the weapon more effective in other scenarios like cross-mapping.
The assault rifle and plasma repeater could do with a power boost and accuracy boost respectively - this would match the DMR’s bloom reduction/removal.
If a DMR user and a needle rifle user had a fight, assuming all shots hit and fired at maximum ROF, they should die at the same time, otherwise as far as mid-long ranged weapons go - that makes the needle rifle underpowered.
The game can improve alot with the introduction of well made maps, specifically designed for combat with weapons on the map in standard reach gametypes - maps suited for the AAs and weaponry to make them balanced, mixing close-range with open spaces, include areas to flank as well as areas to with more obvious power weapon placement than obscure areas to grenade spam until one remains.

Right now you can avoid the playlists that have Armor Lock. Yes, you can play Armor Lock free Reach.
But you have to suffer through bloom in every playlist. You can’t get away from it and its one of the main reasons why many people don’t hunger to play Reach.
If bloom isn’t fixed or removed, will a Title Update really mean anything? The one substantial, game altering change they can deliver to make the game feel more like a Halo game is getting rid of this god forsaken bloom mechanic. Its clear by the TU posts, bloom is killing Reach.
If its not fixed/removed, then who cares. Just bring on Halo4 and Reach can die its sad death it truly deserves.
Agreed. If you watched any of the livestream from yesterday then you could see how frustrating Bloom and AL are in this game. It DOESN’T WORK!!!
It adds an element of luck which can totally make kills A LOT longer then they should be. I wouldn’t have a problem with the bloom from the beta though.
I saw a video of a guy playing a 6 player LAN party with J-tagged Xbox’s ( I don’t agree with such actions ) playing Halo: Reach with no bloom, it Actually looked like alot of fun, the magnum was favoured for most ranges, although the DMR looked to excel at long range.
If I can find the video again ill post a linky.
The beauty of the Halo Shield mechanic is you don’t need to mess with the weapon mechanics like they have with bloom. I kinda thought Bungie knew this by now.
We have shields. We don’t also need weapon handicaps. Shields are what makes Halo play like Halo. You can have 100% accurate weapons thanks to shields.

Why would you disagree with people playing offline with their property modified to how they like i t?
Please please please find that vid tho!

Offline is fine, I meant people who use them to go into pub matches and use god mode for lolz. They have ruined many of my favourite games online just by the fact of hackers hacking.
Yeah, and if they don’t fix the kill times as well the game will suck.
Ive heard that in the title update the following changes will be made:
Dmr will be 4 shot
Armor lock will be nerfed so that when you come out you are 1 shot no matter what or will be completely removed
arena will be removed
1-50 is coming back
vehicles will be buffed for UNSC weapons
camo will be nerfed when scoped (for invis snipers)
new armor and armor effects
new achievements
I like the sound of this, but if the DMR is becoming a 4 shot kill weapon it needs to have its rate of fire slowed to a crawl, and AL is going to be completely useless if what you said is true.

OK, if you read this, than may I have a link to the source?
Noone has actually come out and said WHAT is going to be in the TU. Nice try!!
orly, regardless if 343 does bring back 1-50 with the bpr, will it make people with 100s auto inheritor/general/w.e or will they have to re-earn it?
> > > > Someone a page back (I think) lamented the addition of the Grenade Launcher to Halo Matchmaking. I know this is a bit off-topic, but how can you call one of the most skilled weapons in the game a “noob-toob”? The Grenade Launcher requires good depth-perception, timing and aim, making it one of the most under-appreciated weapons of any Shooter. Pretty much everyone who complains about it is simply just useless with it themselves.

NO. It needs to be like in Halo 3.

> - For active camo to look the same in your first person view as it does to others. As of now if you looks 50% invisuble, you are actually like 80% invisble to everybody else. Just use active camo, move around a little, and view it in theatre while swithcing from 1st person and 3rd, and you’ll see a huge difference. Making it so it stops flickering in 1st person would be nice too.
>
> - I’d also like to see the secondary emblem “four diamonds” to go back to how it was in 3, in reach it’s just a duplicate of “4 plots”. It’s annoying to see an emblem removed, more so when it’s just replaced with a emblem already present in game.
>
> - Can we please get purple and green, not red and blue? I know we can’t have indivual shades of purple and green, or make it so spartans are always green and elites purple, but just make it so the forced color is changed to those two.

> - Change arena. Personally, I think you should just apply arena type ranking to every playlist, and then people can look at their preformance without having to go play a certain playlist or gametype.

In addition, because elites move faster than spartans, crouch walking with active camo causes you to become unloaked a tad
> Don’t touch bloom. Every halo game has had it, this is the first time it’s directly visible, like how we have had health in every halo game, it’s not not always been shown on the HUD
> halo 2 and 3 didn’t have bloom…
But they did. Like with health, it jus wasn’t shown on your HUD. Bloom = recoil. Thats why burst fireing with the AR is more accurate. You get rid of bloom, and the AR will be just as accruate as the DMR or sniper rifle.
