I was actually thinking the same thing a few days ago. If they don’t change BTB or Infection I’ll survive, anyway.
They will still keep the original Reach gameplay. Think of it like this. Halo: Anniversary and Halo: Reach are going to be treated as seperate games but just so happen to be using the same Multiplayer engine. Now, in the multiplayer, they will be treating the games like seperate games. One will have it’s own playlists, and the other will have their own playlists. What Frankie was going off on doesnt mean the TU changes will be moving EVERYWHERE on the board, it just means they will probably be adding new playlists with the TU changes for the HALO:ANNIVERSARY game based on popularity feedback. It will NOT effect the core Halo: Reach multiplayer.

Deal with it.
We’ve suffered with the same broken mechanics that you preferred and lived with ignorance and blind praise. Now it’s our turn to tell people to adapt, and now they’re not even following their own guidelines. If they really had “adapted” to the game, they would have no problem with simply adapting to Classic mode. Now people realize that the game itself had adapted to them, not the other way around.
It’s very ironic, really, how people will always go out of their way to complain about complainers. Not really fun when it’s the other way around, is it? Imagine if the entire game reverted to Classic mode and you were forced to play it. It’s the same as us trying to play such broken and non-halo-like mechanics such as bloom and armor abilities.

So you dont want to play the Halo CE style multiplayer because you dont want to “cave” to the complainers? You have it all wrong its not about choosing sides. Alot of people love the way classic Halo plays and Reach does not offer us a classic Halo experience. We prefer to play Halo without AA’s and reticle bloom just pure Halo gameplay and thats what the TU and the HCEA will give us. Those who prefer the Reach playstyle will still be able to play the Halo game they prefer. They are giving us options to play Halo how we want to, not forcing us to pick sides or anything.

Well I’ve payed 60 buck for a brand new experience. Not so I get to enjoy them for just a year and realize they’ve removed it just to please the Old-school people while leaving others feel ripped-off.
> i just can’t wait to say ADAPT when all of the bloom/AL defenders start whining about the TU. It will prove that halo reach was catering to the bad kids and they didn’t have to adapt; that halo reach adapted to them. now when they can’t adapt because they have no skill, we get to watch them squirm.

> would be better served “fixing” spawntrapping than armor lock lol. and i doubt he’d be happy about that. al stops maybe 1 or 3 kills that the otherguy thinks he shoud have had and adds a tiny bit of frusteration, spawntrapping actually removes your ability to play the game at all which must have an exponentially higher frustration or whatever the guy whining about from al than al does/
> imo tu shouldn’t touch aa or any of that stuff just to please people who’ll complain about hating reach no matter what they do. bet they’ll hate the remake of ce somehow even though its just a reskin lol. something imagined about a grenade not flying right or some Yoink!.
guywiired doesnt think there is a problem with armor lock.
alliance failed.
and it doesnt matter if were the minority or not considering we can actually debate points using logic and reason, unlike everyone who disagrees. the best thing most people can come up with that thinks this game is actually perfect or optimal in its current form is ‘ITS OK CUZ I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH IT’. and sorry, but thats not a solid argument.

You think all of that is being changed? Man, I need to watch the video again that would be awesome if this was true =).
I wonder if we will be able to grenade jump again that would be awesome, and if the plasma rifle had a stun effect I think I might die of happiness lol.
Why is everyone making this their main point to oppose playing in post-TU Classic Playlists? They say it will take us back to the days of H2/H3’s “overpowered” BR. Also everyone is trying to make a point of the sandbox being rendered useless because of a bloom-less utility weapon.
The classic playlists will be their own playlists, you still have the broken Reach to go back to. What many proclaim as the “golden age” of Halo is the BR from H2/H3. It wasn’t overpowered in the least, the only way you can even consider it OP is if you personally sucked with it. If you could aim, strafe and out-smart the enemy then you would have no problem. The sandbox in Reach will not be affected by the bloom-less DMR, the only thing it will affect is the luck factor that is so prevalent in Reach. Nothing is going to stop me from using the Needler over the AR, or a Plasma Rifle over AR. I’d rather have any weapon than Reach’s AR, post-TU or otherwise.
So I ask you, if you have ever brought the above to point, why do you feel that way?

CE was the golden era of Halo, hell i may even stretch it to 2 but 3 & reach def not
