> Just wait a lot of people are going to be converted to the competitive community post-TU. They are going to see what we meant by “Classic Game Mechanics” and are going to stay. But we can’t let up on these kids, if we do then they will never get better. So I say spawn kill, hold the objectives and show no mercy post-TU. It will be every Team for themselves to come out on top. Because this time around the stats will matter, the DMR battles will matter and most of all YOUR skill will matter.
Haha agreed, all we need now is Halo CE movements so strafing is more effective and smaller hitboxes and it will be perfect. I think we will be getting the CE pistol as well, and it will be skillful because Reach’s magnum has the least autoaim of any of the wepaons in the Sandbox! I cant -Yoinking!- wait when does this TU hit anyway?
Yeah, I’ll have to see if I have Speedpile v1 and look into it if I do.

It’s not ideal (adding a new UI layer was out of scope) but it won’t take more than ten minutes of browsing to get all the stuff you want/need. And we’ll constantly be populating Matchmaking lists with updated stuff.“

Aye, I noticed that, but does he mean that literally? Or is he just using a small exaggeration to make a point (that it’ll be convenient to get the customizations that they release)?
Now, don’t get me wrong. I really do hope that I’m wrong – that they come through for us, and extend all of the gametypes. It’d go a long way toward restoring my faith in the franchise. I’m just not optimistic (but then, when am I ever?).
That said, I won’t start damning the TU based on pessimistic predictions. I’m certainly going to voice my concerns, but I won’t start screaming infantile insults at 343. I’ll wait for the TU and play it when it comes out, and see for myself. But as I said I do feel the need to voice my concerns.

My guess is that 343i will put a file share up for the gametypes; it would probably be as painful as acquiring the Action Sack or other updated gametypes.
> It would just make better sense to paste the improved Reach all over the game. Why offer a product that is still sub-standard to your customers when there is a much better thing out there?
Because some weird people will actually prefer default Reach.
I think that when the TU launches, When player go back to default Reach to see what its like, They will go " Wow I can’t beleive I used to play this for hours O_o".

no lolz. its just a coined term for random people you find on xbox live amongst my friends and i.

i know right! they’ll all be completely blown away by the massive improvements. for the first time since release, the halo kids who just jumped on with H3 or Reach will be able to play a GOOD halo game.

Thanks very much As much as I love the prospect of a bloomless DMR and bleed through melee it would be nice to be able to play these settings in MLG/Swat
“Good luck”, you say? No problem–i’ll be able to go back and forth no problem, unlike these people who seem like they’re dousing themselves in acid if they so much as play default Reach.
And a good Halo game, you say? I have been playing one–it’s called Halo: Reach.
