Title Menu Outrage!

I logged into Reach today to play a little bit of no bloom DMR’s with my buddies, but as I reached the Title Menu I was not only confronted with the Standard REACH lettering, but underneath the A, in “REACH” I was also blinded with the ungodly light of a 1.1

Yes, 343 has decided to ruin my favorite part of Halo: Reach, the title menu! This is an absolute outrage, it throws of the crisp clean light let off by the gray text in “REACH”.

My buddies from ReadyUpLive agreed with me aswell. They say that the only way to not see the 1.1 in the Title Menu, is to not look at the Title Menu at all. However, the only way to not look at the Title Menu is to not play the game. Unfortunately our website may have to move to COD as our main video game.

So please 343, take my advice and remove the 1.1 which is obnoxiously throwing off the vibe I got every time I logged into Reach.

Thank you comedic poster for finding the very last thing to complain about in Reach. The forum’s job is now complete.

I seriously hadn’t even noticed a 1.1 underneath. I very much doubt it ruins your halo experience. If it bothers you that much then go on your computer, google “halo reach title menu”, print off the image and tape it over your screen.

And IMO a 1.1 there is good because it makes it clear to everybody the game has improved.

It’s not going away, as it’s fairly standard practice for patch numbers to be included on title screens.

This having been said, they did screw up when they implimented it; version numbers are usually included on the lower right, and Reach does this correctly if your 360 is set to display 16:9, but it obnoxiously sticks it right under the “A” in 4:3.
Still, despite the stupidity, it probably ain’t moving.

Every time I about about to kill Multiplayer it goes into stupid 1.1 and then Forge and Theatre come along and kill me. 1.1 needs to be nerfed now!

1.1 is too random! it punishes 1.1 pacers and awards 1.1 spammers! THIS IS REDUNCULUS!

Yeah, it was also an experiment in forums. I posted the same thread on another forum and the replies were certainly different. It was really cool

The Title Menu is really misleading.

All i see is REACH, not the Reach that should be there.
