Tired of this game...

This game looked good at first only because Reach was such a monumental failure. But now it just seems that every time I play this game I discover something else that I cannot stand. I feel they only care about getting someone to buy the game initially (hence “borrowing” soooooo many concepts from COD) and really could care less about the huge fan base that has been carrying them since Halo CE.

This isn’t as big a failure as Reach but really only seems decent because it has been so long since Halo 3, 2, and CE.

Its funny how people say Reach is a failure when it brought so much to the franchise.

I can understand people not liking the multiplayer because of various reasons such as AA’s and Bloom and the gameplay being slowed down but at the very least the game as a whole (campaign, multiplayer, customs, forge, filebrowser, player models, firefight, Invasion) is one of the best Halo games out there.

I stopped playing when I hit SR 117, having that rank means more to me than playing Halo 4.

I played Halo 4 for 5 days (120 hours), in November. I didn’t like it, but I wanted to get the Microsoft points from it. I didn’t get anything because the people who played pre-release date, and all day on release day got it. Since then I’ve played like 2 days (48 hours). 2 days out of 5 months, total embarrassment if you ask me.

Actually it’s way bigger failure than Reach. The population doesn’t lie.

Only issue I had in Reach was Armor Lock and random Armor Abilities.

Halo 4 is a failure in terms of longevity. I’m not buying Halo 5.

You mean bloom, AAs, and a MM system that matched full parties of 50s with kids who just started playing?

So if the game is a total failure AND you already stated that you have no intent on buying Halo 5, then why are you here? It’s very odd…

No intention of buying H5 using H4’s current state as a basis for the potential H5.

To voice my opinion, as a long time Halo player (since CE)

Btw I didn’t say total failure, I said it’s a bigger failure.

But would you consider it if it seems promising after a couple of months after release?

If it looks amazing before release, I’ll buy it. Still, Halo 5 is the first Halo game I’ve ever had second thoughts about buying.

If it looks amazing in every aspect Halo 4 screwed up in, and adds more it’ll be the best Halo game ever. However, if it’s advertised like that and fails like Halo 4 did then 343 doesn’t have the slightest chance in hell of redeeming themselves.

Pretty much this - I hated Halo Reach for its Armour Lock and Bloom for the DMR, but as far as a Halo game goes, Halo Reach was/is more Halo than Halo 4 will ever be.

I’ll give reach forge, customs, invasion, and sandbox, but I still dont look fondly on it even after halo 4. Both were dissapointments for me for different reasons.

there were no number ranks in reach.
