I just finished playing my eighth SWAT match today, and I was the top player for my team in all eight matches. I only won three of the eight matches, though, and I had a positive K/D spread in all but two of those matches. Even then, I only had a -1 K/D spread both of those times, and it was only because I was trying to save my teams. Now I just feel perpetually stuck in this Diamond 1/Diamond 2 hell where I’ll never escape no matter how well I individually play. Why is CSR based on your team winning? I don’t understand the reasoning behind it. It should be 85% personal performance and 15% team performance, if not 100% personal performance.
I’m Platinum and have no business being there. My last 10 or so slayer matches I’ve had a k/d of .2. I also haven’t been winning those matches either and I lost most of my placement matches. I don’t really understand why I’m a platinum when there’s gold level guys handing death to me every 15 seconds.

Exactly. The system feels broken. Considering I ranked 49/50 in SWAT in Halo 3, played SWAT all the time in 4, and do this well in 5, I feel like I should be an Onyx. I’m not saying give me Champion, but I’ve been mopping the floor with Onyx’s the past couple of days.
They have been upgrading/tweaking the ranking system for the next update so that your personal skill are taking more into consideration. What will be the impact of your personal skill?!?! I don’t know but we’ll see, I totally agree though that some platinum are platinum only because they have lose their placement match and now can’t working up to diamond because of weaker teammates. Same with other rank

You should play with a full fireteam.

I’m in a similar place. I got chucked into platinum for Team Arena when I shouldn’t even be gold. It’s not fun and it’s killing my desire to get better at this game.

Sure. But this guy most definitely does not deserve to be above where he is.
