I am tired of the non-sense. Seems to me like these forums have plenty of frankly limited levels of complaining.
I am not saying that complaining about the game is a bad thing, complaining about waiting for the game, for dlc, for your specialization codes etc etc is a bad thing.
No what is annoying are these kids who come on here, and complain about the folks complaining. Calling them pathetic, telling them to go to school or to get a job.
I say everyone should just hash there issues out here. If you got a problem with folks complaining they didn’t get their code, or that the crimson pack isn’t available yet, just state your case here about it.
Like wise if you feel like you have every right to complain about things being late or never arriving, hash it out here.
IMO, I feel like if you are complaining because you have bought and paid for something and you have not received it. Regardless if you have to wait 5 minutes or five hours, you have the right to complain until you get it. It not a matter of patience, it is a matter of where else can you buy something and then be expected to just be happy that your product is not delivered to you within a timely manner? Moving the medium over to videogames doesn’t suddenly make the out rage any less justifiable.

Front page full of people screaming like kids at the grocery store about their maps, codes, or 343 being bad meanies that hate them is in no way contributing. Keep it to one thread maybe but the users on this site are so entitled and immature its disgusting.

Also are the gamers not entitled. They paid for the stuff they are not getting. Is it because they are gamers they are not allowed to be entitled to the things they buy and ask for?

The entitled kids are the ones begging for extra armor or whatever they can get their hands on because Microsoft is late at getting the map pack out.
Yes entitled. They want what they want to now, and if they don’t get it they go on here and whine. Or demand something extra. They can’t maybe wait a few hours? Or look for the main thread that states the problem?
When I got the map pass no where did it say I would be able to download at 5am. So I waited because I don’t sleep. I then read 7 to 9 am. 9 came around, no pass. I checked here, saw the usual whiners. Finally found the thread saying xbox live was having problems sending it out. What did I do? I played halo 4 enjoyed myself and went to class. See how easy that is?
Although I understand some complaints like the spec codes and crimson map pack when they either paid for it or bought the game justifiably expecting to get them, a lot of complaints are just irrational and senseless. I could bring up a multitude of threads about the DMR that make me cringe when looking at the thought processes behind the threads, but I really don’t want to go there.
I like the game a lot. I think it has a solid foundation that can be built upon. Yes, there needs to be quite a few fixes before it reaches its total glory, but they got a pretty good start. As far as map packs, spec codes, and DLC armor . . . it’s their first title game, and although it’s obvious that they bite off WAAAAAY more than they could chew . . . they’ll get better with each game they crank out. (hopefully)
Ok so on the issue of folks asking for extra armor for having late dlc content, or in some cases no content that they thought they were getting.
There are business that give out free things all the time when they honestly mess up. Like for example a fats food restaurant might include an extra order of fries for you.
Seems like they are just taking to logic of wanting a peace offering to sooth their rage from being inconvenienced by something they invested in.
With complaints about weapons and map changes etc etc, it seems like such threads are needed even if thy can be a bit cringe worthy. If the same issue keeps getting touched upon through various explanations and complaints, it might be something that does actually need investigating.
