Why is it that the Halo website states that
And yet 4 of my past 5 games have been me being placed in a losing game and ending up losing my promos because of it…

Since the release of this game, there were threads upon threads about how there needs to be JIP because of the constant quitting.
343 listens, brought it back for certain playlists and now you guys are complaining about it!!!
Seriously, make up your friggin minds. If you have no idea what you want in a Halo game, how the heck does 343 know what to do?
It is beyond ridiculous what is complained about on this forum on a daily basis.
The only game mode on Arena that has JIP is BTB
They should take JIP out of BTB for a few days, what will you say when you’re in a game 3v8, 5v8 and getting stomped all over the map by the larger team dominating power weapons spawns ? JIP needs to be in BTB.

Jip in arena is a no no… Maybe when social playlists is out there would be another version of it where you can have jip. You just gotta deal with it like in halo 3/reach. I joined a clan for the reason of btb back in reach…So I wouldn’t have quiiters/bad kids

Most people who get put into those situations are just going to quit out anyways you really think anyone is going to stay when the other team is basically just spawn killing them it’s entirely pointless.
If were going to have JIP it should be only used for games that have just started not games that are pretty much already over.

This has been discussed many times, it’s not always possible for every player to get a team together everytime they’re on, even with clans, I’ve seen clans boot up to play with 7 or 9 players, there’s nearly always odd players, it was dealt with in Halo Reach and 3 by the team with short numbers team killing, wasting time, quitting etc, the way to balance it is to have a no loss for players joining a game that cannot be won.

Of course they’ll quit, or team kill or -Yoink- about, been playing Halo since it launched, I’ve seen it all, but why should the remaing ones quit a situation they did not create and take a ban ? JIP is needed in my opinion.
It would be cool if they queued you for a JIP but showed you ahead of time that it was 4v3 27-19, then let you choose to join or start new game. Starting new means longer wait. Joining would give you XP or RP bonus because you are try to help out. And if you win after you get a huge bonus. Bonus calculated bases on % of winning score achieved and how far a gap to losing score.

That’s good idea, I’ve had situation where I join loosing teams, but many times I have been in games where players join and we win, or I have joined and helped a team win, I’m very pro jip, and a reward system is a good idea.
Joining in progress is not that big of a deal, just don’t put it in a Ranked playlist. Kinda defeats the purpose of CSR, huh?

It is beyond ridiculous that there are people like you who dont understand that people have different opinions. Some people like and some people dont like JIP. There will always be people complaining about the lack of it or about it being there. Is that so hard to understand? The Halo Community is not a person, its thousands of unique people. That I really need to explain that, should be common sense but whatever.
I agree with the OP that JIP should NEVER be in a ranked playlist. They choose to make BTB Arena and Ranked, so they should have to take JIP out.

Yes. There is no perfect solution. But joining into lost games 90% of the time without having controll over it is way worse. People get extremly salty when their teammates quit and they lose. It sucks, but JIP is NOT a good solution. It makes it even worse.
3 people quit because they are losing = 5 people have a bad time.
3 new people join that lost game = 8 people have a bad time.
Its ok for people that dont care about their rank I guess, but 343 decided to make it ranked, so people will care about it.
