Every game I play, I finish top of the team. A lot of the times even top in the entire game. Yet I lose most games. Halo is a team game, there is no way I will ever single-handily beat another team of spartans by myself. Yet, matchmaking seems to think that because there is one good player on a team, the rest should be absolute and utter noobs. I’m talking like 2/18 K/D. Usually there is one other person on my team with a positive K/D spread or a decent amount of points, but barley enough to make a difference and nowhere close to the contribution I’m putting in. How does this happen?
Best way to avoid that is to get a squad together. Otherwise, that’s what you’ll wind up with. Not enough players at every rank that are on at the same to fill a lobby all the time, so the Matchmaker has to compensate so that people can even get a game at all. And that’s usually how it happens if every player is a solo.
Yeah this happens most games. If even a couple players on opposing team are effectively cooperating, it makes it very hard for a group of individuals players to win matches.
Try playing with team. Easy fix to your problem.
You pretty much have to have regular teammates in H5 to be successful consistently. Rely on random players and you will get random results. I never had regular teammates so I would only ever rank FFA.
Can’t agree more with other posters. If you want to play a team match, find reliable teammates that you can strategize with, or play FFA. I find teaming up is one of the best ways to enjoy playing Halo. It may also take hundreds of games to get to the point where you can carry a terrible team to victory consistently.
Yea usually I’m carrying everyone, or getting miserably carried around like a baby.
I just stopped trying to rank ages ago when they stopped giving out emblems.
Dude, find an active spartan company and send match invites to the 2nd and 3rd top player after ever game. Be proactive.
