I would like to max out the storm rifle commendation but for me its very hard to use… just need tips or how u guys max out urs
What about the storm rifle is difficult for you? My guess is you’re not easing up on the trigger and preventing overheat.
If you’ve got the upgraded ones, just got to warzone assault and try to at least get 3 to 5 kills with them. That’s how I was able to master mine, that and a long time of playing halo. Carbine was the hardest for me.
I am used to the pistol/br/dmr so using the storm rifle is pretty hard for me lol. I also maxed out the Carbine today actually.
In FFA and warzone using reqs.
But since they changed the layout of the maps in arena the stromrifle may not be on as many maps as before.
I used BTB to finish my commendation. Don’t need to use req’s…They are on many maps.

Defending in WZA. The Blissful slumber variant is the best.
Storm Rifles will beat an AR every time long as you dont overheat. They’re very useful in the first encounters in WZ games. Just make sure you’re firing in bursts so you dont overheat.
When you pick up the Storm rifle treat it like a shotgun. Close range, and play the radar. Use it on plaza. I’ve gotten a couple of frenzies on that map alone using the Storm rifle.

yep, stay at a base and defend It with the Blissful slumber If you have It.
quick bursts, and smart link.
At very close range (about the effective range of a shotty) hold your trigger with your crosshair on your target and melt them, or melt shields/melee. Between the edge of that range up to the edge of arena radar range burst fire it. It has a heat gauge but eventually you get the timing down to maximize shots for each burst without overheating. At medium range use smart-link, shorter bursts to bring down shields then switch to a precision for a headshot. It doesn’t get headshot bonuses so target center mass. It’s kind of OP so it should not take much getting used to it.

If you’re working in WZ on it, then go with Fury. (I can’t live long enough to use Blissful Slumber I guess) but Fury’s longer overheat time allows you to get kills much easier as I just did a few minutes ago with it. Went on like a 8 or 9 killing spree defending on assault with it with a couple of triple kills by just holding down the trigger and spraying full health Spartans. I’ll record it tomorrow and link it here if you want (plus that game I damage boosted my Supressor “Song of Peace” and my DMR. What a mad machine that thing is with a boost.)

Pace your shots, it overheats very quickly but is very deadly, try using fury or blissful slumber in warzone if you have the certs, it actually has a fair amount of range as long as you pace your shots and it will beat a pistol at close range and sometimes even at medium range, it’s a really good weapon once you master it
Also on regular warzone you can pick them up off dead sanghelli early on in a game.
