So I decided to make a thread in which everyone can offer some tips or insight for Halo players who are newer to or less familiar with Warzone firefight. The reason for this is that I have been playing a lot of firefight, both mythic and legendary, lately and, quite frankly, I have been witness to A LOT of players that do not seem to know what they’re doing and act in extremely questionable ways, leading to frustrating losses in otherwise easily winnable games. Im like 95% sure this won’t reach its intended audience, but I feel it may still help some people. I’ll leave a few tips below and I hope everyone else contributes something as well. Also for the purpose of this discussion, I’m really referring to Legendary and Mythic firefight because, let’s face it, heroic is extremely easy. Anyway…
For starters:
-
HAVE reqs and KNOW when to use them: I have seen quite a few players that either do not use reqs at all or use the wrong reqs at the wrong time. The most questionable thing I have seen is during the final round of mythic firefight, I have witnessed on MORE THAN ONE occasion multiple teammates using assault rifles and battle rifles on the final mythic boss. Now, maybe you can get away with that in heroic, but legendary and MYTHIC ESPECIALLY, you might as well be hitting him with paper. Needless to say the matches were lost and I was left mouth agape shaking my head in frustration. For the higher levels, you either need some form of rare vehicle or strong power weapon. If you dont have any good reqs, then don’t play mythic. Sorry, not sorry.
-
TEAMWORK!!!: For the love of God work with your team. Again, in heroic you can get away with every man for yourself, and even parts of legendary, but mythic? If you aren’t working with your team, its a loss. Do not betray your teammates, and do not drive in front of their vehicles and block their shots so you can get the boss kill and all the points for yourself.
Please add more horror stories or tips yall have experienced in firefight. If we help each other out, we all win.
