Tips on being a better sniper?

I was pretty good in the other Halo games with the sniper, with this game I’m not very good. Any tips on how to get better?

maybe you just need controller adjustments. try that and practice in a custom game to see where you’re most comfortable

Just aim and fire… the game GIVES you headshots like 90% of the time lol.

Try sniping enemies from the sides or behind so they can’t see your sniper lens glare.

This. check your controller settings. Consider investing into Elite with its adjustable sticks.

also it helps to have low sensitivity

Aim somewhat close to the head. Let the bullet magnetism do the rest this is easily the easiest halo to snipe in . If you watch YouTube videos or even replay your own you’ll see sniper headshots all the time when your reticle isn’t even close to their dome
