Hello everyone, can someone provide me with some tips on how to get better with Forge. I would like to create some 4v4 symmetrical maps in the future for people to enjoy, but I really need to grasp the basics as well as any advanced stuff that may come my way. If anyone can help me with this, you’ll have my deepest appreciation, thanks.

I have a great website for you. It is just getting started but looks like it will have a great future.

You can also look for members of the Community Cartographers on these forums. I am sure they can help as well. (Go to members and look under role. http://gyazo.com/70cd2aab4ddf5583f46caae6fc401849 )

Thanks for the plug
I definitely recommend you (OP) get a halo4ger account, and post one or two of your maps, we’ll work from there (I’m the admin at Halo4ger in case you were wondering)

Anytime, looks like you have got it together and are highly competent. Your website should do very well.
The Awesome Guide has a comprehensive list of game type object labels.
Forging Reach talks in depth about spawning.
I personally have become a member of Reaching Perfection, a group of forgers who you might get some good tips from.
Practice good object use. Try to find unique ways to combine objects while still maintaining a cohesive look. Maps that don’t do this tend to look too generic.
