Hello everyone, my name is Naruto9tails16. (naw just kidding) Anyway I created this new thing called tip’s mix. It is when you post a comment of a tip. These can help out new noob’s or newcomers on the way point forums, and Halo. You can even link stuff to. (I am one to… I know how ironic that I am making this post huh?)
First tip: Always strafe! Move side to side when you are shooting someone. The reason for this it makes people harder to aim at you when you do this. Sometimes you don’t even have to move your reticule (the thing you use to aim) when you strafe, I do this, not sure if this is helpful but sometimes, when I strafe I just wait until my reticule is lined up on the enemy’s body then I shoot.
Second Tip: Always aim for the head. (I know your like WTF?). Anyway this is important because if you learn to keep your reticule at the enemy’s head level then you can actually use that to your advantage. For example the DMR is 5 shots to the head. Easy kill if you learn to keep that reticule, at that head level. I don’t know how much shots to the body and the kill time but someone can post that below. It was not easy for me to get use to this.(I mean seriously it took forever!) The only thing that helped me was SWAT, it really helps, trust me it does. I been getting head shots like crazy even in slayer. And the reason SWAT helps you is because you get in a HABIT of shooting to the head and after a while you will be keeping your reticule at head level and when someones comes at you… POP! He is dead. But don’t think crouching is better. OK you need to move your reticule aiming thing a little higher than head level because you are crouching of course!
Third tip: Tunnel vision is VERY important epically on sniping, (only tip I have for sniping) Lot of people tunnel vision. Tunnel vision is when you are zoomed in with a weapon and you are just focused in front of you, not behind you just in front of you! Remember when you zoom in, your radar is not visible. So always check behind you! Always be aware of your surroundings! Unless of course you want to get assassinated and then T-bagged while getting shot on the floor.
Third tip: T-bagging… OK if your going to T-bag DO IT F ING RIGHT! I always see people T-bagging in the open being a bunch of… Then I am like FREE KILL! DEAD! You only T-bag until their screen time runs out and when no one can see you. YEAH YA NOOB DO IT RIGHT!
Fourth tip: Dat assassination. Listen to me it is not every time you get an chance for an assassination you should do it. There is a reason why it is called an assassination, ya know? You do it in the dark and silent where no one can see you. I mean I see this guy assassinating someone, I have a shotgun and I am right in front of him (Awkward Moment) and guess what happens I get a -Yoink- yeah a Yoink!. I could have got a showstopper by killing the person performing the assassination but yeah… There is a thing called BEAT DOWN when someone is behind you, and an enemy is right behind just tap the melee button (I use bumper Jumper so I tap the RB button) And it wont count as an assassination but a quick one hit kill beat down. And then you can kill the person behind you.
Fifth tip: I call it frog hopping, I don’t know what you guys call it. It is basically you act like your not in the game and some idiot runs up behind you to assassinate you, or he could of crouched to you, and you wouldn’t notice him on your motion sensor, and you get assassinated. But if he runs to you just jump behind him causing you to land behind the person and hold the melee button or tap it to get an assassination, or a beat down.
Sixth tip: If someone is being a… and trying to kill you by betraying, you just let him do it and boot him or just run away or if you have hard light shield, use it!
Seventh tip: Do not camp in halo 4 if someone has Promethean vision, they can see you so just keep moving and get some kills.
Eight tip: There is nothing wrong with assist. You can even get an assist spree. Your helping out your team to win!
Ninth:Do not always go out int he open area where everyone can clearly see you. Try to go to the mid popular areas not where everyone can see you and gang up on you.
