Well lately I have been playing a lot Warzone but also lost a lot of it. I feel my apport to the team is not enough for help them. What advices would you give to a lonely Spartan in Warzone?

It’s difficult because typically teams of players will go in and play. Pray would be my first tip. Grenadier as a Spartan ability would be my second.

I usually Advanced Sensor and silenced weapons, it have helped me to caught snipers and destroy heavy vehicles

I don’t win many warzone matches for the same reason. Solo searching.

My company needs marine kills so that’s what I concentrate on. Otherwise, just try to have the best game I can.

Ranked I care about wins, warzone I do not. Way too many variables.

Suggestions for solo - warzone. Go for the 25 point AIs when you can. The REQ bonus is worth it. Also go for back-caps as much as you can. You’re likely not going to take back the main base unless you have a power weapon or vehicle like a banshee. Backcaps can be successful or unsuccessful, but you at least have caught the attention of the players who know what they are doing.

Plus this draws attention away from the main base for your teammates, who hopefully have REQs and the awareness to go for the main base.

Hello little war-boy,

I can help you become a war man > to warlord > to general. I have been playing a lot of war-zone over the last 2 weeks.

I will list it point wise so that it will be easier for you:

a. at game start only aim for elites, soldiers ignore anything else. if done correctly you might get to REQ level 2 when the base is clear otherwise rush the first mini boss after the base is clear and before you cap the first armory you will be REQ L2.

b.Aim to get to Req L4 asap by getting as much kills as possible by staying behind your teams offensive players ( like play safe and slow and just aim for assists at the moment)

c. Once you hit REQ L3 a few options open up: you pick a gungoose and continue raiding safely like above, or you pick a power weapon and aim for another boss both will get you to req level 4, you can also try to capture a base. In terms of load-out i use a BR with covie scope and a Tac magnum. patrol case or grenadier.

d. If you have been doing the above efficiently you should be Req L4 in 5 mins. From here on I prefer to go back to solely raiding and killing surviving and trying to capture bases / alternatively if I feel enemies are pushing hard I will defend. at the end of the day its only about Req points now cause teams are around the 300 to 400 point mark.

Before I continue I would like to pause and mention briefly that the all the steps above are the easy part and its at this point that you may stagnate and not get further on your Req level. SO get your game face on. Its time to take control of the Game and dictate the pace.

e. Ok from here on your Requisitions bought will be very crucial the room for error or wastage is not more than 2 Reqs be it Vehicle or Weapon for the WHOLE GAME. either get a ghost, wasp, blaze of glory, SR laser or a Hydra. ( do not REQ a Warthog, I can tell you I have wasted at least 30 Gauss, needler and ONI hogs in total Just driving around hoping someone will sit on the gun). In terms of loadout switch between speed booster and auto medic or i keep patrol case. i still use the Tac mag, but may use an SMG with kinetic bolts.

f.If you noticed the REQS i mentioned in the above you should know they all fulfill different roles, ghost > raiding, Wasp > defending allied vehicles, armories and pushing offensive lines, Blaze of G> defense and taking an enemy base, Laser > denying enemy wraiths, wasps and hogs, Hydra > helps you safely get more kills from far with right positioning. so If all done correctly it should be at 10 to 13 minute mark and you should eventually reach REQ L6 with this strategy and the score board should be nearing the 600 mark.

g.From here on it gets very tactical and it can go both ways for both team unless you have a lead of 300 points. But on the bright side you can finally go full tactical and stop raiding. You have focused on kills enough so now you have to focus on objectives either triple capping or taking out enemy bosses ( i know this guide is meant to be solo but if you have made it to REQL6 by 13 mins then you have reasonable teammates so just play with them. slowly taking complete control of the game ) If at any point in the game you have triple capped try rushing the enemy base and doing some damage to the core at least 25% this will make half your enemy team turtle in base.

h.In most cases when matchmaking is good the game will be neck and neck and all through and you will face strong resistance after the 17 mark, SO from here on it is in your hands I suggest spending less REQS and being more cautious like in the above point, I either switch between upgraded shields, advanced sensors or wheel-man. the loadout weapons i use now are important: DMR laser sight, SMG projection Kinetic bolts, SMG suppressed, and as soon as you get REQL7 use a energy bayonet SMG or BR.

When you have clear Map control just bring a tank, mantis, Phaeton, answer, sniper rifle or Banshee and you can finish it

so thats my go to strategy it takes some practice but after a few games it will feel like clockwork. I got 39 kills and 22 assists the other day. I start of solo queing and by the third game I have 12 people in my party because of coming in the top 3 and inviting new people every game.

Warzone isnt about REQ levels or Kills, it is only about strategy and tactical advantage establishing this early on without teammates is very difficult but it really is possible, and you dont need to play like a pro just think like one :). you are a soldier of Fortune “In battle you will be fine, if you focus on whats deadly and the endings” - Guts.

One thing you can try and do is steal those boss kills. It really helps keep the score close and keeps team members more motivated to win and perhaps use their reqs. I noticed when one team started getting way ahead on the score the other team kinda gives up and are like eh this game is a loss may as well just run around with my rifle. Stealing boss kills can be very tough though. You have to use vehicles (well timed as not to get blown up to soon) or active camo and a sniper rifle or rockets stuff like that.

I agree with what everyone else has said up until now and will only add one thing: don’t forget about the humble plasma pistol. Not the Spitfire or Void’s Tear. Just the regular ol’ PP. It is dirt cheap REQ-wise and can be a major help in dealing with early or even late game vehicle charges by the other team. Try to EMP charge vehicles that are near teammates. No need for you to risk trucking it over to the disabled Scorpion when NoobMaister95 is right there and can chuck a grenade into that bad boy for you.

Like everyone else says-stay back, support your team, and for some extra advice, when the enemy controls the middle and “their” base (the one located near their reactor), grab a mobile vehicle like a Ghost or Gungoose and go capture “their” base. It will draw heat of the middle base and maybe allow your team to capture it.

Its quite hard because everyone contributes to the game in his own way: killing players, killing AI, giving covering fire, be a vehicle driver, boss killer.

If you are good at shooting and want to capture bases, i recommend using short-mid range weapons, or fast firing weapons (like an smg, shotgun, scattershot, magnums-especially the gunfighter variant in this case) with the Reinforced shields modification.

If you are more like me, that plays agressive, just to make kills and assist in the capture of a base or a boss takedown, i recommend every weapon, especially the loadout weapons that has the laser upgrade (which reduces the weapon´s bullet spread and increases the magnetism, plus it decreases the bloom in the weapons that have it like the AR or the SMG, which also helps with the accuracy in weapons like the BR or the DMR, which doesnt have bloom, but bullet spread in the reticle´s diameter) with the thruster pack modification for more speed while shooting.

If you prefer staying more in the distance, use mid-long range weapons, with the barrel stabilizers that unables the recoil (useful in every DMR variant, except the Recon. one, and the base BR, which is recomendable chaging it by every other variant of the same weapon) with the Avanced radar modification to watch out for enemies your back.

That are my tips if you want to play better and contribute to the team, without sticking to them all the time.
