Tips for solo players in WZFF

I know some people don’t like playing warzone without tean communication and they feel like they would lose without giving it a try. I know a few tricks to help you out to be the most affective player on your team!

  1. When you see someone is using their worthog turret please don’t drive them.
  2. When the object is defend a certain thing and you have low reqs, use the enemy weapons against them! Promeathean pistol actually auto lock on the promeatheans weak spots and it works on Knights too! Covenants are extremely weak when it comes to their weapons against them, the plasma rifle literally MELT the elite armor.
  3. Do not spawn the big reqs even tho you know what boss it is, sometimes bosses spawn on high places like the temple and I remember spawning a rocket hog and it was a waste XD so spawn something that is suitable for the location you’re fighting the boss in.
  4. Needler hog and rocket mongooses are OP against bosses when you’re at low level.
  5. Make sure you either use extra ammo or auto medic or upgraded shield or upgraded thrusters for running way from combat and recharging your shield while running.
  6. Snipers are the most less recommended weapons against big bosses but it’s extremely recommended when ultra elites or super soldier’s spawn.
  7. Kill the watchers when wardens spawns because they can literally heal him to full health in 2 seconds.
  8. When you’re in a worthog make sure there is only 2 people in it because when the gunner shield is down he can switch seats.
  9. Shield boosts and damage boosts are recommended when you’re using heavy weapons and not primary weapons.
  10. When the object is defend 3 objects, never be on foot! Enemies come in armored vehicles and enemies who are on foot they mostly have shields and it will take you time to kill them 1 by 1.

Well said and I will use those tips. Thanks

It took me awhile to get what your saying, and I have one comment:

I tell my teammates this all the time.

I’d love to have a 9 passenger WARTHOG, OP.

I hope it will be useful to some Spartans. Some nice tips.

Low level team mates with no REQs are a greater hurdle than any boss 343i have come up with… but thanks for the tips.

you are right

I thought most of this was common knowlage for most!?

All around good tips. I’ve been the driver of a good number of Warthogs where my gunner used that technique to great effect. It works! Use it!
And I fully agree. The best weapons for dealing with Prometheans are their own weapons. The Bolt Shot is great at popping arms off Knights and exposing their backs for a quick kill. I may not land the killing blow, but I’ve noticed that I tend to knock off their arms before anyone else.

I would like to add a few more tips

  • Use wheelman while in vehicles
  • Use a Ghost in early rounds you can run over your enemies with ease
  • You can use snipers on the glass shield of the Grunt Goblin!!! (Works sometimes)
  • Mantises can actually be useful
  • Rocket Hogs for Air Vechicles
  • You can push wardens with phaetons!!!

It’s not their arms, it’s just a piece of armor that covers their “core”.

  1. Don’t
  2. Make some friends
  3. Defend the Core

Good tips and well spoken

I pretty much follow all of those tips except for sniping the grunt goblin’s glass shield. Might try that one

Thanks for the tips mate

The warthog thing made me mad. Maaan can’t tell how many times some idiot gets me killed and waste my Req. I never use my rocket, or gauss hogs for this reason. Someone is always gonna make you waste your time.

This I can’t agree with more… my god.

  1. Yes, You should drive him. It’s a warthog not a scorpion.

No.

For THIS reason. Just yesterday, some Covvie pillow biter grabs My rocket hog, AFTER I parked it inside the Armory to defend it easier. So this piece of go-se drives us RIGHT outside into three knights, with incineration canons, who proceed to waste my level 5 req, & almost costing us the round, due to the respawn timer.
