Get the ball, put it right next to your goal. Make sure it does not respawn or roll. Then, when they arrive, you run behind them, and shove a knife in their throat.

ill try it to this achievement annoys me to no end because there is only 1 easy place to assassinate because the two jumps are impossible to get behind them before they reach the goal.
Camp around your base, not helping your team. Wait in the corner with active camp as you desperately try to stop someone with the ball as a detriment to your team.
Seriously though, it’s all luck based. I don’t mind the other ones, I got nearly all of them the day the DLC launched but that one is a bit too situational…

For me the achievement was gotten by a simple dash to catch the bugger before he scored, and yes the chance hardly ever arises. But to get it, hope that the opposing team isn’t being shot at and the carrier has the confidence to run it in… Then tackle him and give him a new airhole to breathe out of!
