Tips for my friends?

Me and my friends have been playing a lot of 3v3. We typically based our strategy off of the forge flamer drop and it worked well against low tier players. We’re trying to go away from that but I think my friends have trouble with army comp and micro. I’ve been trying to help them but does anyone have any tips I should give them ?

Play 1v1 regularly and go from there. Teammates are like training wheels. If they actually want to learn the game, 1s is where they’ll go.

Just tell them the guy in front of them (or the guy who can teleport to them), is their guy. Then once you stabilize work out team work from there.

One of my friends refuses to play anything but banished and the other plays mainly unsc

As banished always main vehicles, and your secondary unit can be either be air or infantry depending on what you are going against. If your going against mostly unsc I would make vehicles and have air be your secondary as you need engineers and shrouds to get through kodiak spam (also banshees are good in a supporting roll but don’t get carried away with them ). Against mostly banished I would recommend vehicles and infantry as an army of reavers, wraiths, elite snipers, and and hunters are not easy to counter without good artillery, which banished is lacking in. Also for banished making a few locust (2-4) can be helpful as it will give you some nice base damage and they do better against units when supported then you’d probably expect. Lastly some jump pack brutes fully upgraded are very good when you don’t have press through artillery when attacking a base. I play mostly banished too so I can’t really help with unsc, but if I have one suggestion don’t play anders. Anders is good when you know what you are doing but new players tend to play her wrong. Pro players will say she is easy but I think she makes you bad at some of the fundamentals of the game if your new.

Play some social slayer to warm up then jump in for rank. That’s my opinion.

I think you guys should play 1v1s against each other. spectator mode can be a very useful tool to see mistakes during the game.

Don’t play Anders she makes you weak.

Oh yeah, also Deci is really bad too. Just play Serina and Johnson, they’re OP.

Johnson can bench press the spirit of autumn, and Serina has a suspended drivers license, so they are both great choices.
