Tips for Executioner commendation?

So, I’m finally making some progress with this commendation in the hopes of getting my Kingslayer emblem. I’m up to 35/50 Expert, after getting at least 9 executions in the last half-a-dozen games I’ve played. Most I’ve gotten in one game was 3 on Abandon.

But I still need help. I’m running a loadout with the Active Camo AA, and the Mobility and Stealth armor mods; best I could come up with for getting assassinations, and not having them stolen.

Often, I have trouble catching the King at all, much less with his pants down; the King keeps changing, or getting killed and respawning as far away from me as humanly possible… sometimes I sprint in for the kill and overshoot the target, giving him an easy beatdown or otherwise getting shot by his opponent.

If anybody has any useful tips or tricks that can make this commendation easier, please feel free to share.

I wouldn’t recommend AC for this commendation. The King will see the dots on the radar and will most likely avoid your area, which can make it harder for you to earn it.

That’s all I can give as a tip, as Stealth alone can get the job done.

Ambush, try and memorize popular routes/areas the king may use, either to hole up and defend or when trying to run away. Abandon’s back lift area and the central lift are key points, and have many spots to lie in wait. (the central lift area in particular has that little cove next to the back entrance, the sides of the grav lift obviously, and even IN the grav lift if he’s coming up the front ramp)

I didn’t get venator in the first week for no reason.

AC has its uses. I use it while running; sometimes it will confuse the king and reduce the chances of him turning around. Especially when there are a lot of players using Active Camo at the same time.

If you know a better AA to use for nailing the King, feel free to share.

That’s pretty much what I’ve been doing all night. Abandon can be a great map for scoring Assassinations.

Anyway, I’m finally making some real progress with this one. Mind you, my K/D has gone to -Yoink-, and I’ve lost more than half the games I’ve played tonight. I realized you have to sacrifice a bit in favor of the commendation.

Hologram could help… maybe?

I don’t know to be honest.
Being sneaky isn’t my thing.
So I’ve put this Commendation off for awhile.

bring a mate in the lobby and take turns to execute each other. giving no one else the chance to win…

simple

Such action is cheating, and would be dealt with most appropriately.
OT: Honestly, I usually get 2 assassinations during a game, but it is so hard to kill the king, not because he is watching his radar, but because he is in the middle of a melee fest.

I actually ran into a couple of guys doing just that. Still managed to snag 3 Executions off the two of them, heh.

I am a little surprised you would actually admit to this. It seems kind of a boring way to get this maxed out. I don’t know if I would call it cheating, but definitely lame.

I don’t really have any tips for you OP, but you have definitely given me some ideas. I have actually stepped back from my push for playing solely for commendations. I have been enjoying Legendary Slayer. There is something so gratifying about a playlist with no AA’s.

Don’t worry about it. I finished the commendation a couple hours ago; check out the new emblem.

Legendary Slayer is actually quite fun, though I wish they would give us the Magnum as a secondary weapon. Even better, I would like to see it in Rumble Pit when it returns in place of Slayer Pro. But I guess I’ll get the chance to play Legendary Rumble next week, eh?

let me clear this up. I have never done the above which I mentioned. I was just kidding. jeez lighten up
