Tips for arbiter?

I just recently got HW2, and I plan on getting the arbiter. Anyone have tips? I hear he’s gotten below average.

Need to understand what his leader powers do . I suggest play around with them till you hold a grip . Having enforcers in your army is very important in my opinion no matter how far in you are in the match.
and it all depends what you wanna do ? Do you want to crush bases early ?
Then the Early game Enforcer rush is for you around the 3-4 min mark with a 50 pop grunts and enforcers is usually the perfect time to go in and within seconds the base is gone? That’ll take out a base in no time. ( but if you fail get ready to face a backlash of insults)
What’s great about the enforcers is that throughout the game your always a huge threat if they don’t counter you all game long . They counter your enforcers ? Switch up to locusts and maurauders with elites . Whatever you do keep upgrading those enforcers. These units are actually inexpensive. Tier 2 enforcers = god tier. ( enforcer might not work in onyx levels but I still have some success with it, a good ally to cause distraction while you build your rush always helps)
Early leader rush ? Just causing havoc and provoking the opponents and getting him levelled to be one of the strongest leaders and fastest in the game ?
no matter what tier your in the point of arbiter is to take out bases rapidly and cause havoc. Use the teleport leader power.
if you feel like you need to play defensively then use the stasis to heal you’re units and bases. No matter which leader power you use the passive makes your army stronger. So always maintain and upkeep your army at all times.
you want to max Conduit of Rage and have many different leader powers. Teleport, mines, stasis. The more leader powers you drop around your army the more effective they are. The speed, self heal and damage . You wanna drop the additional leader powers when you see the orange colouring covering your army fading away so it prolongs the duration. You see an army coming your way while your trying to destroy their base? Stasis them. Your conduit of rage rages max radius will take effect because you’ll be in enough range and proceed taking out the base.

pros-

  • amazing early rush units
  • strong leader
  • Strong late game if Rage of conduits passive is maxed to 3.

cons
weak ultimate leader power
weak early game if not rushing or playing correct
Predictable against good players
lots of micro management , leader , leader Y ability , , units , leader powers

he is a decent leader. the early game that was suggested by yung jed1 is a good early game but once again it is a pretty annoying thing to do and won’t really make you any better.

another idea is going for a solid infantry army of grunts and enforcers to get map control, defend rushes, get mini bases etc. just because you have a early game army doesn’t mean you need to rush. if your opponent threw his infantry army at you and you destroy it. consider moving up to take out some buildings on or even his base. destroying buildings will damage his economy.

another tip for enforcers is if a hero is running away that’s weak use the Y ability on the enforcers to temporarily disable it. then you can gain ground and take it out before it runs away. especially forge hog or fast leaders in general

the stasis can be used if your army is across the map and you need to stop your enemy from destroying your base. use the stasis on either your base or their units to give your units time to get back and defend.

if a friendly base is about to be destroyed stasis the base so it can’t be targeted

if a strong leader power has been used on your units u can stasis them so it doesn’t do damage

thats all i got off the top my head. i used to use him a lot. if you ever wanna play let me know.
