Hey everyone, I’m almost done with commendations at this point (huge goal nearly achieved!), but there are a couple that I’m looking for advice on to complete… I have ideas, but from those who’ve done it, what do you suggest?
Mongoose Kills - I’m only on level 4, but to be fair, I haven’t played much Warzone up to this point. My assumption is I just need to grind them there and get somewhat lucky… but any suggestions, or is that about it?
Clamber Kills - Just seems so luck based. Strongholds and Breakout give the most opportunities that I’ve seen before, and someone recommended Infection to me once for that… thought? I’m on the tail end of level 4, but it takes forever to get them!
Yeah, clamber kills are a pain. I guess you could just use a Whiplash in Warzone and wait until you clock an enemy that hasn’t seen you. Follow them and they’ll climb on something pretty quickly. Snap them then.
As for Mongoose kills, the Gungoose works for these, so just spam spawn those in Warzone, or nab the few lying around in BTB.
EDIT: Oh, did you mean you killing Mongooses? Yeah, that’ll be more tricky. Can’t help you there, sorry…
I was given a good suggestion on another thread to play Super Fiesta for clamber kills… makes sense on the right maps if you’re running around with power weapons!
Step 1: Spawn Mongoose
Step 2: Drop it off in front of an enemy base.
Step 3: Lie in wait. When someone jumps on it, light it up.
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profit!

Well, good luck getting a heavy enough weapon into the core room without dying…

Clamber kills I would recommend super fiesta where you can get a plethora of heavy weapons on arena maps… Mongoose destroying is a tough one. I still need ten more just play BTB and/or warzone and have a laser ready.
I’m picking up cliffhangers quicker in action sack. On diminishing kings and on the other king of the hill mode there are rockets and a lot of places to get vertical.
On diminishing kings grab the rockets on your side. More times than not you can catch an enemy going vertical for the invisible…or on the way back with the invisible. Wait for the enemy to start their clamber and boom.
On the rotating king mode when the scoring zone is on either of the high points with the turrets if you can hold that position some enemies will attack from the SMG side. Wait till they come around to where the short part of the wall is. Ground pound or rockets work well here.
Ive found I can get one or two cliffhangers per day out of playing maybe 3-4 games on each mode. That’s a much better rate than I had been going. 4 more to go for me!
I got a decent amount of Cliffhanger medals in Infection over the past weekend. My suggestion is that you just camp close to a ledge as a survivor where the Infected would have to clamber to reach you.

The clamber kills are luck. Just gotta catch them at the right time.
