Tip: How to avoid most boltshot kills

Seen many threads how OP boltshot is. Kinda agree, maby nerf it’s range?
I have faced many boltshot users and have countered them many times now. And becous many have problem with them I though I could write how to not bee fooled by them.

The solution is easy, look at your radar very often.
What these people use most is Promethean visor and the maps corners. Then your near a corner and see a red dot very near same corner on the radar, it sometimes pop up a expanding red ring (Promethean visor) and the red dot stops moving.

This is probably a boltshot user (99,9% sure it is if you got killed by boltshot earlier in the game or meet this dude earlier with a boltshot as primal weapon). What he do is waiting untill you pop in front of him soo he can 1-hit-KO (duh).

Now what he probably do is as I wrote wait untill your near the corner soo he can charge his boltshot for that 1-hit-KO. Soo don’t be a fool and go directly to that corner, go more away from the corner and he can’t kill you with it soo easy soo he must use his other OP gun DMR! And the fight will be more fair.
Of cours there are many other counters, the best one is grenades. ALWAYS pick these up, especially if you don’t use resupply.

One good grenade is acctually pulse grenade, go a bit more away and throw it near his side soo he “can’t” walk in front of you and kill you. And if he shoot and miss you, congratz!!! The fight is more easy for you now becous his weapon must cooldown!

Or you can try sprinting then jump thrusting around the corner, that works almost all of the time if you just want to rush him instead of bait.

Seems pretty simple to me…

Getting destroyed by DMR shots? Stay out of open areas.
Getting annihilated by vehicles? Switched to a loadout with plasma pistol (or stay in confined areas)
Getting pwned by boltshot charges? stay out of confined areas and watch for blind corners…

Adapt to survive.

People complain that the thruster pack ins’t effective enough, but those people don’t use it right.

It’s amazing when you are in close quarters and want to surprise a shotgun/boltshot/scattershot camper. (Not so much with swords I’ve noticed lol)
