SO ever since the launch of halo ive been able to get 47 games online mostly H2A, some are Team slayer. For one, H2A seems to be the most stable playlist, and easiest to find matches in. Secondly, hard resetting your xbox(holding the power button down till the xbox shuts off) also helps a lot, the weird thing is when playing NHL 15, I had to reset my xbox sometimes to find a match as well. I have a wired connection, so also using a wired connection as well. Lastly, for some reason matchmaking is horrendous during the hours of 12-2 pm EST, but at the hours of 2 and 9 PM EST , servers tend to become a lot more stable and my ability to find matches drastically increases.Hopefully you guys can find some matches!

Halo 2: Anniversary is definitely one of the more stable of the hoppers. Big Team Battle seems to find games pretty consistently as well, depending on your track record, of course. The Championship Series is pretty good for finding matches, too, but it’s usually not a lot of fun because it has unbalanced teams more often than not.
I’ve definitely noticed a drop in match finding between 12pm and 2pm EST as well.
Oh, and trying to search for games with more than two people seems to delay any kind of matchmaking, too. I have the best luck when searching with two people.
