TIp For Improving Accuracy

Hello everyone!

Recently I have been working on improving my accuracy in Halo 4. It has been rather difficult for me because this is the only shooter I play with a gamepad (all of the others I play on PC, and after years of Mouse and Keyboard coming back to a 360 controller has been more than difficult).

But I have a philosophy in gaming for improving yourself in various areas. It revolves around using weapons and equipment that have very specific downsides in order to force yourself to be better.

In this case, to improve my accuracy I am using the Covenant Carbine. This is because the carbine demands near-perfect accuracy to compete with other weapons. So once I feel that I play decent using the Carbine, I will return to the BR and DMR with much improved accuracy and be able to use those weapons to a much higher degree.

This tactic can be applied to any game assuming you have the resources at your disposal (TF2 is another game where this works, the backburner costs 50% more ammo to use its airblast, so the backburner teachers you how to be more precise with your airblasts and not spam them).

Here is a video I made on the subject: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxAe0pgP_cg

I hope this helps anyone looking to improve their accuracy!
