How exactly will the Timeless One control the Flood to his advantage? The Flood listens to no one, except for the Gravemind, maybe the Timeless One has made a deal with the Gravemind. Who knows…
Maybe he is the Gravemind. It’s never said if the Flood had a Gravemind when they fought Humanity but the Didact does say that “they have a new master” when referring to the released Timeless One. The Gravemind also refers to himself as a “Timeless Chorus” which could mean he went from “One” to “Chorus” because he is now joined with billions of other voices through the Flood. He also mentioned imprisonment when he is defeated by the Chief in Halo 3.
Me and some folks from the Bungie Universe hypothesize that the Timeless One uses the Gravemind’s as mouthpieces for himself. That way if one GM were to be destroyed, a new one could be built and the Timeless One is back online. But then that begs the question, where is the Timeless One?
…Not to be rude but have none of yall read ajw34307’s theory… or seen any new recent information found on here…
The Gravemind IS The last precursor…
A long list of evidence has been found for this and dont disagree with me cause its all there and makes perfect sense
Can someone inform me of who The Timeless One is? Sorry, I havn’t read any of the Halo books. Is he the Medicant Bias thingamurjigur guy?

OH sorry vader didnt see this post
In ways, You are right vader
The gravemind we see is the one from 100,000 years ago, the same one. The timeless one is the gravemind pretty much, speaking THROUGH the flood/gravemind from anywhere in the universe.
Get it… GraveMIND, the MIND of the Flood, Last Precursor is the MIND

Im going to kill you…
Jk lol
Yeah, No hes not Mendicant Bias
He is the Last Precursor, he goes by that, the Prisoner or the Timeless One
The precursors created the Forerunners and Humanity
The forerunners then betrayed them and only one survived, locked up for a longgg time, then later escaped becoming the gravemind, leader of the flood
Correction:
He escaped but technically not either
Medicant Bias let him out after years and years and years of talking
Grim, I wish you would stop pushing someone elses theories as facts. We really dont know much about the Timeless One or what happened with him since being sent to the original Installation 05

Hey man, im not pushing people’s theories, im actually helping them out with a little bit of correct info to add
such as the list of info/evidence suggesting the gravemind is the last precursor thats all

My problem with the last precursor being the Gravemind is: It is too predictable.

Well yes and no to that
Cause if he is the last precursor, whoever (343) is going to make that be or has made that be, hid it in the text of books (cryptum) and is in the games dialogue. They didnt expect us to find it out easy, cause who would pay close attention to what garvemind says and what the prisoner says/is described as.
So its not something that sticks out that you would know right away
I thought the Timeless One created the Flood?

Well, about 90% of looked at the evidence and said “Gravemind.” So he’s not rreally shoving a theory down people’s throats; I thought it was pretty obvious he was the Gravemind. For example, consider this piece of info I found myself: Medicant Bias’ first two digits in his seriel number are 05, suggesting he controlle Halo Installation 05, where we see the Mind in Halo 2.

This is probably correct. As for the location of the Timeless One, I’d assume he was either on/in(?) that planet that John got pulled toward in the Halo 4 trailer, or somewhere nearby… >_>

Except the Installation 05 that MB controlled is not the same Installation 05 that was fought over and controlled by Penitent Tangent.
The last sighting for the the Timeless One is on the ORIGINAL Installation 05. So at best, assuming that the Gravemind and the Timeless One are one and the same based on the fact they were both found/last seen on two separate installations is grasping at straws that are not there and possible a weak case of confirmation bias.
