Time Zone Confusion

So, I live in Central Time Zone, Microsoft and 343i live in West coast Time Zone. On the Dashboard the countdown to Halo 4 is 2 extra hours then it is for me (because MS is in a different time zone). I’m going to the midnight release, and I’ll be playing Halo 4 as soon as I get back. Since MS is in West Coast and Halo 4 hasn’t come out over there, could I get banned for playing ot pre release? I know this is a stupid question, but other’s input would help.

No you won’t get banned. I live in australia, we get it nearly a whole day before the US does. Microsoft know about time zone differences

The downside is we in Australia have to wait an additional day for the bulletin and other news- It’s already 2pm Thursday here.

This is true  you guys are among the first! you get it one hour before sydney (we’re in EDT atm, which is GMT +11, you guys are GMT +12).

It is annoying, but at least we still get it at the same time as them, it just seems like it is taking longer, its not like they delay the release for us.

You can’t get banned for playing a game early that you legitimately bought or recieved. It might cause Microsoft to investigate you in the background to see if you stole it or are playing on a modded 360, but if not you’ll be fine.

I live in GMT+4 zone and dashboard countdown is perfectly synced with it. Is your timezone set correctly in the console settings?

In any case, you can’t be banned. Don’t worry.
