Turns out that players who spend the most time on this game will do the best. Just because you will be able to get crutches for playing a lot, and not because of your skill.
Isn’t that 99% true in other Halo games, too?
Wait for them to explain om wendsday i rather have that then go go plus 10 in a game and loose a rank because of bad teammates.
People with high skill already play a lot. What’s your point?
> Isn’t that 99% true in other Halo games, too?
No. Not at all.
> People with high skill already play a lot. What’s your point?
Because bad players can play more and get better tools that allow them to be “better” than the good players. Just because they can sink 150 hours a week.
> Isn’t that 99% true in other Halo games, too?
Come on now. You no that none of the halo games gave you crutches for having a lot of playing time. Halo 4 will be the first.
None of the mods seem to be that strong to be honest. So what if you don’t get unscoped, you still have to aim?
I can use a waypoint over my head to my advantage once I get the Sticky Detonator as well. Even then, it can trick players into foolishly charging you and getting killed.
You can see when the Ordinance comes in a few seconds earlier? Good for you, we still have to fight over those Rockets. Even if you do get them by ignoring me and rushing for them, they’ll be pretty weak or dead with a grenade.
It still does look a bit better than some Reach’s AA’s allowing for noobs to beat better players.
EDIT: Although I will admit that it is unfair that you get to choose between all 8 specializations once you hit the max level if you get Limited, rather than the standard two, and I pre-ordered limited. Halo should NEVER give people a gameplay edge because they spent more money. Leave that to games like Farmville…

At least the specializations seem to be balanced. It could be worse.

No they’re not. Especially with the fact that you get them based on time, and not actual skill level.
I thought the general law of everything is that unless you are completely mentally incompetent, you get better at just about everything over time. No, most new players are not completely stupid. Stupid, but just not irreparably stupid.
not completely true…the more you unlock doesnt mean your a better halo player, a good halo player can win at anything with what they have infront of them
> not completely true…the more you unlock doesnt mean your a better halo player, a good halo player can win at anything with what they have infront of them
^ this too.
> not completely true…the more you unlock doesnt mean your a better halo player, a good halo player can win at anything with what they have infront of them
No. Equal skilled Halo players, while one has a better ability for the simple reason that he played more. It is less about skill, and more about playtime. You aren’t being out-skilled or outplayed.
> I thought the general law of everything is that unless you are completely mentally incompetent, you get better at just about everything over time. No, most new players are not completely stupid. Stupid, but just not irreparably stupid.
It is not about being a new player. It is just about sinking the most time in the game. Inheritors are not better than me because they have more credits, even though I am an Eclipse. Now if Inheritors unlocked abilities I do not have, they would have the advantage, depute being at a lower skill without the abilities.
> not completely true…the more you unlock doesnt mean your a better halo player, a good halo player can win at anything with what they have infront of them
No, the best halo player can win at anything with what they have infront of them. If what you said was true, a good player will never lose.

2 50s can 1v1, with one using a Plasma Repeater, while the other has a Rocket Launcher. The Plasma Repeater one will not win.
It’s not about Tom Taylor having a 1v1 with RandyBoy117, it is about equal skilled players, and one having the advantage because one played more.
If you tell me one Specialization that is better than another Specialization, then I will agree with you. They are all balanced, so it will be impossible to have a “Stronger Ability”

Please. Tell me how does having an arrow over my head makes me completely screwed when another player can shoot at you and make the arrow pointless?

Because I can be shot at while lining up my Sniper shot, and not be punished.
