Ok, so I can safely assume that during the new trilogy Master chief will be going back in time. During Ce it was hinted at that the chief has been there before. Looking at the new terminal teasers and previews this is hinted at even further.
This is all speculation, but this mechanic could see us returning to installation 04 to fight the covenant and the flood once again. This would also tie in well with halo anniversary.
People that were not able to play the original now know the story elements of the original.
In my opinion this was all calculate/formulated by 343 for this purpose.
Any thoughts?

No Chief is not going back in time, Guilty Spark was not talking about him specifically, he was talking about the ancient human empire that was around 100,000 years ago. Read the book Cryptum if you want to know more.
Hmm… interesting. Mind explaining a little bit more about it? I seem to recall guilty spark telling masterchief his battle suit was inadequate to battle the flood, and that he should upgrade to a newer model.
Were these people warriors with advanced battle suits like MJOLNIR?
Yes. The armor was more amazing. Read Cryptum.
Yes especially the Forerunners, they’re suits are capable of keeping them alive for tens of thousands of years.
I really really hope there is no time travel.
Well the last book I read was ghost of onyx. After that some books came out but I wasnt interested. After Reach came out and I saw how it ignored canon I kinda figured anything goes with the story now.

I thought that depends on the suit. A cryptum suit of course will keep an individual alive for eons. The suit type worn by Born is able to keep him alive for years without access to food. Years and Eons are two different things, though years is still quite a bit (no novel on hand, lent it to a cousin).

Oh no your right, my bad.
Ok guess I was ignorant to current canon. So any new enemies in these books? Anything that might predict the new enemies of halo 4?
I might check it out. Thanks
> Read the book!!!
Any idea when it comes out as paperback? The hardcover won’t fit onto the shelves of my Halo shrine.
time travel if done right can be good, but time travel has no place in halo universe.
How could you not want the First Edition hardcover?! They are a must for collectors like me.
Theres no way time travel ever happends…
lol Time Travel. That would be silly.
can some one tell me what the op is and what could some of the new enimieese be because i cant just get the book
