I come here from the bungie.net forums hoping you guys will teach this guy a lesson. Lone wolf is known on the b.net forums as one of the biggest AFKers in the game, in almost thread he posts he always gloats about how he AFKs in every game and how you guys (343i) will never do anything about it because you will lose so many players. He even has a user name “lone wolf AFKs” over on b.net
He’s been doing this ever since the takeover because he thinks since bungie no longer has control over the game nothing will happen to him. He’s a Reclaimer and hasn’t AFKed over 500+ games probably. I know that rank resets can only be done manually and you guys really need to do it with this guy.

He is ruining the game for others in FF and something needs to be done, I’m hoping you actually read all of this and look into it because he needs to be reset and shown a lesson.
I couldn’t care less if I get banned for this, because it’s a big issue what I hope 343i looks into. Also i’m sure others who come from bungie.net will vouch for me and will agree as well.

Resets, bans and all that such is automatic, Bungie programmed the AFKing bans & resets after Reach came out, so it wasn’t fully tested and they never added/updated more ways to detect it.
Just be patient, the guy will eventually get caught by the ban hammer, although, it isn’t exactly a concern, they are the ones who will be bored when they hit Inheritor because they will be the max rank with nothing more to gain.
Just leave the guy alone, giving him attention is just what he wants.
Bans are automatic but resets are done manually. It’s VERY EASY to get around the banhammer though, all you need to get is get 1-2 kills per game and you can AFK the rest with the banhammer never even looking at you every one knows this.

I believe its all automated, I haven’t heard of anyone at 343i manually doing resets, I remember back when Bungie updated the ban hammer for challenge resetting, they claimed that it was the last few resets they were doing manually before it all became automatic, I assumed the same for AFKing.
