Ok so this BS temp bann had been on here since day one and it pisses off a lot of ppl. The only time I leave is when there a hacker on the other Sam, since halo reach has gone free I’ve seen more hackers in reach them ever before, I end up leave a few rounds to not feed these hackers, and get to a temp ban for leaving is just stupid, no other game out there (not eve halo 3 now does) does this BS. Plus the games gone free, and ppl that never played reach will think once they see the temp bann on there screen they’ll be like. -Yoink!- halo I’m going to back to COD or what ever game they play, come on 343 remove it no one likes it. It’s a big black eye in halo reach, I like all players should be the right to leave a round if they want with out get a temp bann, like I sad no other game does this. Not even GTA online…

I disagree. Do you think it is fair on your team mates when you quit a game that they have to play with one less player.
The ban only last for 10 mins which if you quit early in a game would be the equivilent of how long you probably would of been in the game you quit from. You also stated, in your other post about Hackers, that the quit probation you were on stopped you from quittting a game so from my perpspective it has worked.
It stopped you from quitting.
The temporary quit ban cannot be removed since it is programmed into both the game’s coding and the matchmaking server algorithm that detects cheating, boosting, AFKing etc. To remove the quit ban, that part of coding would need to be removed/blocked, and at this point in a 4 year old game’s life that is simply not going to happen.
Also the quit ban is there for a reason, and it is serving its purpose. If you don’t want to be banned (albeit only for 10 mins) then don’t quit no matter what.

Not really. I got it once because of host migration problems. Thats just… made me quit reach for a while.
Yes there’s a reason behind the ban, yet it plugs in WAY to early and its buggy. I even once got it out of no reason. No quits.
A quit ban should only be that fast and fatal if everything works right. But this ban just ruins the players experience.
It’s the second big flaw beside AL.
It is almost impossible to hack Halo Reach unless you have a modified Xbox. I’ve been playing since it’s release and went all the way to inheritor the legitimate way and still yet I cannot recall a time someone was hacking. The irony is that when I played Halo 4 heavy on a different account I came across someone using a carbine that had the dvars for a scorpion tank and our team still won. lol
The temp ban was a nuisance in the day but I don’t see a valid point/explanation/excuse to get rid of it unless you expected 343 to throw you a bone for rage quitting.
In this day an age, I still think all quitters should be punished (Even I) for leaving your team short a player. Especially invasion quitters.
The ban is draconian.
