I hate to complain but holy yonk! I am really frustrated with the time it takes me to kill anyone is this damn game. I played halo 4 and halo 5 back to back and what ever they did to this multiplayer really sucks. not only did my team lose a warzone match 1000-90 (in like 3 min) my next warzone match was a beating also. banshees and matis raining death down on our one base we owned besides the home base area. this also took a short period of time before we were squashed. then I played big team battle. that was the most confusing and strangely laid out map… and nothing against the forge guys that made it but the graphics really sucked. WE GAVE UP SPLIT SCREEN FOR THIS!
I play battlefield 4 ( as I have played all the battlefield titles since battlefield: bad company-except hardline-), I have played halo since CE and have a ton of books, comics etc. I am a fan of halo but this multiplayer really sucks. the hit markers have to be way off. I do not suck this bad but I cant kill a damn person. I get a ton of hit markers with the BR, AR and grenades. but NO ONE DIES! I fire like a whole clip at them (sometimes more) as they run. I get hit markers but do not kill them. sometimes their shield do not pop wither… I even get several hits after their shields are down and they do not die. maybe there is lag and I only perceive one burst hitting my but this happens too often to be the case. I am killed way quicker then I kill others and not all is my poor shooting (because I can see the hit markers). then two BR bursts kill me.
I play the battlefield titles a ton ( under aekulcsar-I have two accounts since my ID got stolen a few years ago and I needed another one to play as Microsoft sorted the whole thing out-) and the multiplayer has always been awesome. BF4 had some issues but they fixed it and BF 3 and prior titles were always great. Good weapons balance, great maps etc. This is the worst halo multiplayer ever–ok MCC was the worst. at least this has a good campaign.
obviously people with way higher skill than me are playing this game but most games in warzone I never get out of a req level 4. if you are on a losing team ( most times I play) the other team gains more req options and you lose even faster. this seems like a huge flaw. I advance up the reg ladder so slowly that is sucks. I try to gain bases and kill people and bosses but again I run into the " i am cowering for my life" as others run around with vehicles and fuel rods and snipers and this crappy hit marker stuff where I can’t kill anyone no matter how much I hit them. at some point winning the match is impossible ( like when I had the 2 banshees and 2 mantis pummeling our base) due to the other teams increased reqs. this is very much like call of duty and the kill streak bonuses ( I HATE call of duty). the very good players trounce the poor and mediocre players and this becomes very frustrating.
there needs to be a better balancing of players on each team so the games are more even. most times the team I am on is cowering in our base trying to break out. yes the other team is better but there should be some kind of system that tries to make each game more even through skill level balancing. if this is happening now, it really sucks and is not working. hard fought games are more fun for everyone. other games do this and the higher level and higher skilled people still have a great experience ( I should know- I do very well in BF games and I love it).
you can all tell me I suck and that I need to play better. it may be fun to repeatedly beat players like me into the dirt without us having a chance to even get a foothold in these games. but this does not change the fact that this multiplayer is really crap compared to other halo titles and other titles on the market. and we game up multiplayer for this! I have no idea what we gave it up for 60 fps!? the battlefield titles and halo 4 have very smooth multiplayer game play and we have split screen in halo 4. BF 4 has the old 30 fps and the game is smooth and very good in multiplayer.
again I am so pissed at this game I just had to rant.
