time to go b4 midnight or wait?

What would be a good time to go to gamestop before midnight launch to be the first in the line and get out faster, or is it worth it to wait til morning? Kinda want to get the game quick so i can start campaign til maybe 3

I have LE but now i am starting to feel like i should just go pick it up and split fast, being patient freakin sucks

Depends on where you are.

Like, for me, I live in a town in Southern California, so it won’t be as crowded, so I could go 20-30 minutes before midnight, but if you live, in say, New York City, you’d probably want to be there a decent amount of hours before midnight.

I see. For me the gamestop is like only a good 10 minutes away from my house and i have gotten there before last year for 2 midnight launches bf3 mw3 and the lines were stacked way before 12 like around 10 i think and ended up gettin out around 3,did leave 20 minutes before, i imagine it would be pushed back to walmart

Also depends on how much of a nerd Halo fanboy you are. I’m going 3-4 hours just to be safe.

Sounds like you will have to leave a good time before midnight if you want to be one of the first to get into the store.

If I had to wait anymore than two hours, at that time, in Winter weather, I would just leave it until the next day. Even if it is Halo. XD

I go about 1030. I also know the people who work at my local Gamestop so I chat it up with them.

If you have work or school, I say skip the midnight release and go to sleep.

Lol i know, id be -Yoink!- if i got halo 4 on my b day instead of nov 6 in december

I do have work but that wouldnt stop me regardless if i had to wake up early lol i got the day off after my 1st and 2nd midnight launches

Unless there is a specific reason you want to go to Gamestop, go to your local 24 hour Wal-Mart. If you don’t have a local 24 hour Wal-Mart then never mind. You can probably get in, get your copy, and get out faster than Gamestop without the wait.

Just my 2 cents.

EDIT: I assume you pre-ordered from Gamestop so forget this advice.

I go a day early.

me and my buddy are going to start the line at 5. we want in and out home fast as possible.

For me, in alaska there wont be that many people even if i were to show up at midnight, it may be 50 people deep. Since there are five other retailers doing the midnight thing as well. The gamestop at the mall wont let folks start lining up until nine. So i will be lingering at eight and get by the door at 9, mrs fields cookies next door, so cookies and halo. Fitting right?

I’m going a half hour before midnight.

am much as i would love to play the game right away i have college classes that tuesday morning and i won’t miss them for a videogame. i’ll get the game after class in the afternoon. Unfortunately i also work a night shift on tuesdays so i won’t be able to play until that tuesday night. Life takes priority over videogames for me

i’m getting mine in the mail, so im good.
